1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, Go ye, and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God into the earth.

2 And the first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth; and it became a noisome and grievous sore upon the men that had the mark of the beast, and that worshipped his image.

3 And the second poured out his bowl into the sea; and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living soul died, even the things that were in the sea.

4 And the third poured out his bowl into the rivers and the fountains of the waters; and it became blood. 5 And I heard the angel of the waters saying, Righteous art thou, who art and who wast, thou Holy One, because thou didst thus judge: 6 for they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and blood hast thou given them to drink: they are worthy. 7 And I heard the altar saying, Yea, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

8 And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given unto it to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat: and they blasphemed the name of God who hath the power over these plagues; and they repented not to give him glory.

10 And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom was darkened; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, 11 and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they repented not of their works.

12 And the sixth poured out his bowl upon the great river, the river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way might be made ready for the kings that come from the sunrising. 13 And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as it were frogs: 14 for they are spirits of demons, working signs; which go forth unto the kings of the whole world, to gather them together unto the war of the great day of God, the Almighty. 15 (Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.) 16 And they gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew Har-Magedon.

17 And the seventh poured out his bowl upon the air; and there came forth a great voice out of the temple, from the throne, saying, It is done: 18 and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since there were men upon the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty. 19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And great hail, every stone about the weight of a talent, cometh down out of heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof is exceeding great.

1 Și am auzit un glas tare, care venea din Templu și care zicea celor*Cap. 15:1. șapte îngeri: „Duceți-vă și vărsați pe pământ cele șapte potire ale mâniei*Cap. 14:10;15:7. lui Dumnezeu!" 2 Cel dintâi s-a dus și a vărsat potirul lui pe*Cap. 8:7. pământ. Și o rană rea și dureroasă a lovit*Exod 9:9-11. pe oamenii care*Cap. 13:16,17. aveau semnul fiarei și care*Cap. 13:14. se închinau icoanei ei. 3 Al doilea a vărsat potirul lui în*Cap. 8:8. mare. Și marea s-a*Exod 7:17,20. făcut sânge, ca sângele unui om mort. Și*Cap. 8:9. a murit orice făptură vie, chiar și tot ce era în mare. 4 Al treilea a vărsat potirul lui în*Cap. 8:10. râuri și în izvoarele apelor. Și apele s-au*Exod 7:20. făcut sânge. 5 Și am auzit pe îngerul apelor zicând: „Drept*Cap. 15:3. ești Tu, Doamne, care*Cap. 1:4,8;4:8;11:17. ești și care erai! Tu ești Sfânt, pentru că ai judecat în felul acesta. 6 Fiindcă aceștia au*Mat. 23:34,35. Cap. 13:15. vărsat sângele sfinților*Cap. 11:18;18:20. și al prorocilor, le-ai dat și Tu să bea sânge*Is. 49:26.. Și sunt vrednici." 7 Și am auzit altarul zicând: „Da, Doamne*Cap. 15:3. Dumnezeule, Atotputernice, adevărate*Cap. 13:10;14:10;19:2. și drepte sunt judecățile Tale!" 8 Al patrulea a vărsat potirul lui peste*Cap. 8:12. soare. Și*Cap. 9:17,18;14:18. soarelui i s-a dat să dogorească pe oameni cu focul lui. 9 Și oamenii au fost dogoriți de o arșiță mare și au*Vers. 11,21. hulit Numele Dumnezeului care are stăpânire peste aceste urgii și*Dan. 5:22,23. Cap. 9:20. nu s-au pocăit ca să-I*Cap. 11:13;14:7. dea slavă. 10 Al cincilea a vărsat potirul lui peste*Cap. 13:2. scaunul de domnie al fiarei. Și*Cap. 9:2. împărăția fiarei a fost acoperită de întuneric. Oamenii își*Cap. 11:10. mușcau limbile de durere. 11 Și au*Vers. 9,21. hulit pe Dumnezeul cerului din pricina durerilor lor și din pricina rănilor*Vers. 2. lor rele și*Vers. 9. nu s-au pocăit de faptele lor. 12 Al șaselea a vărsat potirul lui peste*Cap. 9:14. râul cel mare, Eufrat. Și*Ier. 50:38;51:36. apa lui a secat, ca*Is. 41:2,25. să fie pregătită calea împăraților care au să vină din Răsărit. 13 Apoi am văzut ieșind din gura balaurului*1 Ioan 4:1-3. și din gura fiarei și din gura prorocului mincinos*Cap. 12:3,9. trei duhuri necurate*Cap. 19:20;20:10., care semănau cu niște broaște. 14 Acestea sunt*1 Tim. 4:1.Iac. 3:15. duhuri de draci, care fac*2 Tes. 2:9. Cap. 13:13,14; 19:20. semne nemaipomenite și care se duc la împărații pământului întreg*Luca 2:1., ca să-i strângă pentru războiul*Cap. 17:14;19:19;20:8. zilei celei mari a Dumnezeului celui Atotputernic. 15 „Iată*Mat. 24:43.1 Tes. 5:2.2 Pet. 3:10. Cap. 3:3., Eu vin ca un hoț. Ferice de cel ce veghează și își păzește hainele, ca*2 Cor. 5:3. Cap. 3:4,18.să nu umble gol și să i se vadă rușinea!"16 Duhurile*Cap. 19:19. cele rele i-au strâns în locul care pe evreiește se cheamă Armaghedon. 17 Al șaptelea a vărsat potirul lui în văzduh. Și din Templu, din scaunul de domnie, a ieșit un glas tare, care zicea: „S-a*Cap. 21:6. isprăvit!" 18 Și au urmat*Cap. 4:5;8:5;11:19. fulgere, glasuri, tunete și s-a*Cap. 11:13. făcut un mare cutremur de pământ, așa de tare cum*Dan. 12:1., de când este omul pe pământ, n-a fost un cutremur așa de mare. 19 Cetatea*Cap. 14:8;17:18. cea mare a fost împărțită în trei părți și cetățile neamurilor s-au prăbușit. Și Dumnezeu Și-a*Cap. 18:5. adus aminte de Babilonul cel mare, ca să-i*Is. 51:17,22.Ier. 25:15,16. Cap. 14:10. dea potirul de vin al furiei mâniei Lui. 20 Toate*Cap. 6:14. ostroavele au fugit și munții nu s-au mai găsit. 21 O*Cap. 11:19. grindină mare, ale cărei boabe cântăreau aproape un talant, a căzut din cer peste oameni. Și oamenii*Vers. 9,11. au hulit pe Dumnezeu din pricina urgiei*Exod 9:23-25. grindinei, pentru că această urgie era foarte mare.
