1 And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, which they hallow unto me, and that they profane not my holy name: I am Jehovah. 3 Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed throughout your generations, that approacheth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto Jehovah, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from before me: I am Jehovah. 4 What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath an issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth anything that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him; 5 or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath; 6 the soul that toucheth any such shall be unclean until the even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he bathe his flesh in water. 7 And when the sun is down, he shall be clean; and afterward he shall eat of the holy things, because it is his bread. 8 That which dieth of itself, or is torn of beasts, he shall not eat, to defile himself therewith: I am Jehovah. 9 They shall therefore keep my charge, lest they bear sin for it, and die therein, if they profane it: I am Jehovah who sanctifieth them.

10 There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest’s, or a hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing. 11 But if a priest buy any soul, the purchase of his money, he shall eat of it; and such as are born in his house, they shall eat of his bread. 12 And if a priest’s daughter be married unto a stranger, she shall not eat of the heave-offering of the holy things. 13 But if a priest’s daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and be returned unto her father’s house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father’s bread: but there shall no stranger eat thereof. 14 And if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give unto the priest the holy thing. 15 And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto Jehovah, 16 and so cause them to bear the iniquity that bringeth guilt, when they eat their holy things: for I am Jehovah who sanctifieth them.

17 And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, 18 Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whosoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners in Israel, that offereth his oblation, whether it be any of their vows, or any of their freewill-offerings, which they offer unto Jehovah for a burnt-offering; 19 that ye may be accepted, ye shall offer a male without blemish, of the bullocks, of the sheep, or of the goats. 20 But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you. 21 And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace-offerings unto Jehovah to accomplish a vow, or for a freewill-offering, of the herd or of the flock, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein. 22 Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto Jehovah, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto Jehovah. 23 Either a bullock or a lamb that hath anything superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill-offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted. 24 That which hath its stones bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut, ye shall not offer unto Jehovah; neither shall ye do thus in your land. 25 Neither from the hand of a foreigner shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, there is a blemish in them: they shall not be accepted for you.

26 And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, 27 When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for the oblation of an offering made by fire unto Jehovah. 28 And whether it be cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and its young both in one day. 29 And when ye sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto Jehovah, ye shall sacrifice it that ye may be accepted. 30 On the same day it shall be eaten; ye shall leave none of it until the morning: I am Jehovah. 31 Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am Jehovah. 32 And ye shall not profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am Jehovah who halloweth you, 33 who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am Jehovah.

1 Domnul a vorbit lui Moise și a zis: 2 „Vorbește lui Aaron și fiilor lui ca să*Num. 6:3. se ferească de lucrurile sfinte, care Îmi sunt închinate*Cap. 18:21. de copiii lui Israel și să nu*Exod 28:38.Num. 18:32.Deut. 15:19. necinstească Numele Meu cel sfânt. Eu sunt Domnul. 3 Spune-le:

‘Orice om dintre urmașii voștri și din neamul vostru care se va apropia de lucrurile sfinte pe care le închină Domnului copiii lui Israel și care va avea pe el o necurăție*Cap. 7:20., omul acela să fie nimicit dinaintea Mea. Eu sunt Domnul. 4 Orice om din neamul lui Aaron care va avea lepră sau scurgere*Cap. 15:2. de sămânță să nu mănânce din lucrurile sfinte până nu*Cap. 14:2;15:13. va fi curat. Tot așa și cel*Num. 19:11,22. ce se va atinge de cineva spurcat prin atingerea de vreun mort, de cel*Cap. 15:16. ce va avea o lepădare de sămânță în somn, 5 cel*Cap. 11:24,43,44. ce se va atinge de o târâtoare și se va spurca sau un*Cap. 15:7,19. om atins de vreo necurăție oarecare și care se va fi făcut necurat prin ea. 6 Cine se va atinge de aceste lucruri va fi necurat până seara; să nu mănânce din lucrurile sfinte decât după ce*Cap. 15:5.Evr. 10:22. își va scălda trupul în apă; 7 după asfințitul soarelui va fi curat și, în urmă, va mânca din lucrurile sfinte, căci aceasta este hrana*Cap. 21:22.Num. 18:11,13. lui. 8 Să nu mănânce dintr-o vită*Exod 22:31. Cap. 17:15.Ezec. 44:31. moartă sau sfâșiată, ca să nu se spurce cu ea. Eu sunt Domnul. 9 Să păzească poruncile Mele, ca să nu-și ia*Exod 28:43.Num. 18:22,32. pedeapsa pentru păcatul lor și să nu moară pentru că au necinstit lucrurile sfinte. Eu sunt Domnul, care îi sfințesc.

10 Niciun*1 Sam. 21:6. străin să nu mănânce din lucrurile sfinte; cel ce locuiește la un preot ca oaspete și cel tocmit cu ziua să nu mănânce din lucrurile sfinte. 11 Dar robul cumpărat de preot cu preț de argint va putea să mănânce, tot așa și cel născut în casa lui; ei*Num. 18:11,13. să mănânce din hrana lui. 12 Fata unui preot măritată după un străin să nu mănânce din lucrurile sfinte aduse jertfă prin ridicare. 13 Dar fata unui preot care va fi rămas văduvă sau despărțită de bărbat, fără să aibă copii, și care se va întoarce*Gen. 38:11. în casa tatălui său, ca atunci când*Cap. 10:14.Num. 18:11,19. era fată, va putea să mănânce din hrana tatălui ei. Dar niciun străin să nu mănânce din ea. 14 Dacă un*Cap. 5:15,16. om mănâncă dintr-un lucru sfânt fără să bage de seamă, să dea preotului prețul lucrului sfânt, adăugând încă o cincime la el. 15 Preoții să nu*Num. 18:32. necinstească lucrurile sfinte aduse de copiii lui Israel, pe care le-au adus ei Domnului ca jertfă prin ridicare; 16 ei vor face să apese*Vers. 9. astfel asupra lor păcatul de care s-ar face vinovați mâncând din lucrurile sfinte: căci Eu sunt Domnul, care îi sfințesc.’"

17 Domnul a vorbit lui Moise și a zis: 18 „Vorbește lui Aaron și fiilor lui și tuturor copiilor lui Israel și spune-le:

‘Orice*Cap. 1:2,3,10.Num. 15:14. om din casa lui Israel sau dintre străinii din Israel care va aduce o ardere-de-tot Domnului, fie pentru împlinirea unei juruințe, fie ca dar de bunăvoie, 19 să ia*Cap. 1:3. o parte bărbătească fără cusur din boi, miei sau capre, pentru ca jertfa să fie primită. 20 Să nu aduceți niciuna*Deut. 15:21;17:1.Mal. 1:8,14.Efes. 5:27.Evr. 9:14.1 Pet. 1:19. care să aibă vreun cusur, căci n-ar fi primită. 21 Dacă un*Cap. 3:1,6. om aduce Domnului din boi sau din oi o jertfă de mulțumire, fie pentru împlinirea*Cap. 7:16.Num. 15:3,8.Deut. 23:21,23.Ps. 61:8;65:1.Ecl. 5:4,5. unei juruințe, fie ca dar de bunăvoie, vita pentru jertfă să fie fără cusur, ca să fie primită; să n-aibă niciun cusur în ea. 22 Să n-aduceți niciuna*Vers. 20.Mal. 1:8. care să fie oarbă, slută sau ciuntită, care să aibă bube, râie sau pecingine; din acestea să n-aduceți pe altar ca jertfă mistuită*Cap. 1:9,13;3:3,5. de foc înaintea Domnului. 23 Ca dar de bunăvoie, vei putea să jertfești un bou sau un miel cu un mădular*Cap. 21:18. prea lung sau prea scurt, dar, ca dar pentru împlinirea unei juruințe, nu va fi primit. 24 Să n-aduceți Domnului un dobitoc cu boașele frânte, stricate, smulse sau tăiate; să nu-l aduceți ca jertfă în țara voastră. 25 Nici să nu luați de la străin*Num. 15:15,16. vreunul din aceste dobitoace ca să-l aduceți ca mâncare*Cap. 21:6,17. Dumnezeului vostru, căci sunt sluțite*Mal. 1:14., au metehne, și n-ar fi primite.’" 26 Domnul a zis lui Moise: 27 „Vițelul*Exod 22:30., mielul sau iedul, după naștere, să mai rămână șapte zile cu mama sa și apoi, de la a opta zi înainte, va fi primit să fie adus Domnului ca jertfă mistuită de foc. 28 Vaca, oaia sau capra să n-o înjunghiați ca jertfă în aceeași zi*Deut. 22:6. cu fătul ei. 29 Când veți aduce Domnului o jertfă*Cap. 7:12.Ps. 107:22;116:17.Amos 4:5. de mulțumire, s-o aduceți așa ca să fie primită. 30 Vita să se mănânce în aceeași zi; să nu lăsați nimic*Cap. 7:15. din ea până a doua zi dimineața. Eu sunt Domnul. 31 Să păziți*Cap. 19:37.Num. 15:40.Deut. 4:40. poruncile Mele și să le împliniți. Eu sunt Domnul. 32 Să nu necinstiți*Cap. 18:21. Numele Meu cel sfânt, ca să*Cap. 10:3.Mat. 6:9.Luca 11:2. fiu sfințit în mijlocul copiilor lui Israel. Eu sunt Domnul, care vă*Cap. 20:8. sfințesc 33 și care*Exod 6:7. Cap. 11:45; 19:36;25:38.Num. 15:41. v-am scos din țara Egiptului, ca să fiu Dumnezeul vostru. Eu sunt Domnul."
