1 Praise ye Jehovah.

Praise ye Jehovah from the heavens:

Praise him in the heights.

2 Praise ye him, all his angels:

Praise ye him, all his host.

3 Praise ye him, sun and moon:

Praise him, all ye stars of light.

4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens,

And ye waters that are above the heavens.

5 Let them praise the name of Jehovah;

For he commanded, and they were created.

6 He hath also established them for ever and ever:

He hath made a decree which shall not pass away.

7 Praise Jehovah from the earth,

Ye sea-monsters, and all deeps;

8 Fire and hail, snow and vapor;

Stormy wind, fulfilling his word;

9 Mountains and all hills;

Fruitful trees and all cedars;

10 Beasts and all cattle;

Creeping things and flying birds;

11 Kings of the earth and all peoples;

Princes and all judges of the earth;

12 Both young men and virgins;

Old men and children:

13 Let them praise the name of Jehovah;

For his name alone is exalted;

His glory is above the earth and the heavens.

14 And he hath lifted up the horn of his people,

The praise of all his saints;

Even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him.

Praise ye Jehovah.

1 Lăudați pe Domnul!

Lăudați pe Domnul din înălțimea cerurilor,

lăudați-L în locurile cele înalte!

2 Lăudați-L*Ps. 103:20,21., toți îngerii Lui!

Lăudați-L, toate oștirile Lui!

3 Lăudați-L, soare și lună!

Lăudați-L, toate stelele luminoase!

4 Lăudați-L, cerurile*1 Împ. 8:27.2 Cor. 12:2. cerurilor

și voi, ape*Gen. 1:7., care sunteți mai presus de ceruri!

5 Să laude Numele Domnului,

căci*Gen. 1:1,6,7.Ps. 33:6-9. El a poruncit și au fost făcute,

6 le-a*Ps. 89:37;119:90,91.Ier. 31:35,36;33:25. întărit pe veci de veci,

le-a dat legi și nu le va călca.

7 Lăudați pe Domnul de jos, de pe pământ,

balauri*Is. 43:20. de mare și adâncuri toate,

8 foc și grindină, zăpadă și ceață,

vânturi năprasnice, care*Ps. 147:15-18. împliniți poruncile Lui,

9 munți*Is. 44:23;49:13;55:12. și dealuri toate,

pomi roditori și cedri, toți,

10 fiare și vite, toate,

târâtoare și păsări înaripate,

11 împărați ai pământului și popoare toate,

voievozi și toți judecătorii pământului,

12 tineri și tinere,

bătrâni și copii!

13 Să laude Numele Domnului!

Căci numai Numele*Ps. 8:1.Is. 12:4. Lui este înălțat:

măreția*Ps. 113:4. Lui este mai presus de pământ și ceruri.

14 El*Ps. 75:10. a înălțat tăria poporului Său:

iată o pricină de laudă*Ps. 149:9. pentru toți credincioșii Lui,

pentru copiii lui Israel, popor*Efes. 2:17. de lângă El.
