A Psalm of David.

1 The earth is Jehovah’s, and the fulness thereof;

The world, and they that dwell therein.

2 For he hath founded it upon the seas,

And established it upon the floods.

3 Who shall ascend into the hill of Jehovah?

And who shall stand in his holy place?

4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart;

Who hath not lifted up his soul unto falsehood,

And hath not sworn deceitfully.

5 He shall receive a blessing from Jehovah,

And righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 This is the generation of them that seek after him,

That seek thy face, even Jacob. [Selah

7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates;

And be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors:

And the King of glory will come in.

8 Who is the King of glory?

Jehovah strong and mighty,

Jehovah mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates;

Yea, lift them up, ye everlasting doors:

And the King of glory will come in.

10 Who is this King of glory?

Jehovah of hosts,

He is the King of glory. [Selah

1 Al Domnului este*Exod 9:29;19:5.Deut. 10:14.Iov 41:11.Ps. 50:12.1 Cor. 10:26,28. pământul cu tot ce este pe el,

lumea și cei ce o locuiesc!

2 Căci*Gen. 1:9.Iov 38:6.Ps. 104:5;136:6.2 Pet. 3:5. El l-a întemeiat pe mări

și l-a întărit pe râuri.

3 Cine*Ps. 15:1. va putea să se suie la muntele Domnului?

Cine se va ridica până la Locul Lui cel Sfânt?

4 Cel*Is. 33:15,16. ce are mâinile nevinovate*Iov 17:9.1 Tim. 2:8. și inima curată*Mat. 5:8.,

cel ce nu-și dedă sufletul la minciună

și nu jură*Ps. 15:4. ca să înșele.

5 Acela va căpăta binecuvântarea Domnului,

starea după voia Lui, dată de Dumnezeul mântuirii lui.

6 Iată partea de moștenire a celor ce-L cheamă,

a celor ce caută*Ps. 27:8;105:4. Fața Ta, Dumnezeul lui Iacov. (Oprire)

7 Porți, ridicați-vă*Is. 26:2. capetele;

ridicați-vă, porți veșnice,

ca*Ps. 97:6.Hag. 2:7.Mal. 3:1.1 Cor. 2:8. să intre Împăratul slavei!

8 „Cine este acest Împărat al slavei?"

Domnul cel tare și puternic,

Domnul cel viteaz în lupte.

9 Porți, ridicați-vă capetele;

ridicați-le, porți veșnice,

ca să intre Împăratul slavei!

10 „Cine este acest Împărat al slavei?"

Domnul oștirilor:
