16 And Jesus, having been given baptism, straight away went up from the water; and, the heavens opening, he saw the Spirit of God coming down on him as a dove;

17 And a voice came out of heaven, saying, This is my dearly loved Son, with whom I am well pleased.

16 Et quand Jésus eut été consacré, il sortit aussitôt de l'eau; et à l'instant les cieux s'ouvrirent à lui, et il vit l'Esprit de Dieu s'abaisser comme une colombe et apparaissant sur lui.

17 Et voici une voix des cieux, qui dit: Celui-ci est mon Fils bien-aimé, en qui JE SUIS pleinement satisfait.
