44 And all those who were of the faith kept together, and had all things in common;

45 And exchanging their goods and property for money, they made division of it among them all, as they had need.

46 And day by day, going in agreement together regularly to the Temple and, taking broken bread together in their houses, they took their food with joy and with true hearts,

47 Giving praise to God, and having the approval of all the people; and every day the number of those who had salvation was increased by the Lord.

44 Alle aber, welche glaubten, waren beisammen und hatten alles gemein;

45 und sie verkauften die Güter und die Habe und verteilten sie an alle, jenachdem einer irgend Bedürfnis hatte.

46 Und indem sie täglich einmütig im Tempel {die Gebäude} verharrten und zu Hause das Brot brachen, nahmen sie Speise mit Frohlocken und Einfalt des Herzens,

47 lobten Gott und hatten Gunst bei dem ganzen Volke. Der Herr aber tat täglich [zu der Versammlung] hinzu, die gerettet werden sollten. {d. h. den Überrest aus Israel, welchen Gott vor den Gerichten retten wollte, indem er ihn der Versammlung (christl. Gemeinde) hinzufügte}
