1 \1:18\And lifting up my eyes I saw four horns.

2 \1:19\And I said to the angel who was talking to me, What are these? And he said to me, These are the horns which have sent Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem in flight.

3 \1:20\And the Lord gave me a vision of four metal-workers.

4 \1:21\Then I said, What have these come to do? And he said, These are the horns which sent Judah in flight, and kept him from lifting up his head: but these men have come to send fear on them and to put down the nations who are lifting up their horns against the land of Judah to send it in flight.

5 \2:1\And lifting up my eyes, I saw a man with a measuring-line in his hand.

6 \2:2\And I said to him, Where are you going? And he said to me, To take the measure of Jerusalem, to see how wide and how long it is.

7 \2:3\And the angel who was talking to me went out, and another angel went out, and, meeting him,

8 \2:4\Said to him, Go quickly and say to this young man, Jerusalem will be an unwalled town, because of the great number of men and cattle in her.

9 \2:5\For I, says the Lord, will be a wall of fire round about her, and I will be the glory inside her.

10 \2:6\Ho, ho! go in flight from the land of the north, says the Lord: for I have sent you far and wide to the four winds of heaven, says the Lord.

11 \2:7\Ho! Zion, go in flight from danger, you who are living with the daughter of Babylon.

12 \2:8\For this is what the Lord of armies has said: In the way of glory he has sent me to the nations which have taken your goods: for anyone touching you is touching what is most dear to him.

13 \2:9\For at the shaking of my hand over them, their goods will be taken by those who were their servants: and you will see that the Lord of armies has sent me.

14 \2:10\Give songs of joy, O daughter of Zion: for I come, and I will make my resting-place among you, says the Lord.

15 \2:11\And a number of nations will be joined to the Lord in that day, and will become my people; and I will be living among you, and you will see that the Lord of armies has sent me to you.

16 \2:12\And Judah will be the Lord's heritage in the holy land, and Jerusalem will again be his.

17 \2:13\Let all flesh be quiet and make no sound before the Lord: for he is awake and has come from his holy resting-place.

1 Und ich hub meine Augen auf und sah, und siehe, da waren vier Hörner.

2 Und ich sprach zum Engel, der mit mir redete: Wer sind diese? Er sprach zu mir: Es sind die Hörner, die Juda samt dem Israel und Jerusalem zerstreuet haben.

3 Und der HErr zeigte mir viel Schmiede.

4 Da sprach ich: Was wollen die machen? Er sprach: Die Hörner, die Juda so zerstreuet haben, daß niemand sein Haupt hat mögen aufheben, dieselbigen abzuschrecken, sind diese kommen, daß sie die Hörner der Heiden abstoßen, welche das Horn haben über das Land Juda gehoben, dasselbige zu zerstreuen.

5 Und ich hub meine Augen auf und sah, und siehe, ein Mann hatte eine Meßschnur in der Hand.

6 Und ich sprach: Wo gehest du hin? Er aber sprach zu mir: Daß ich Jerusalem messe und sehe, wie lang und weit sie sein solle.

7 Und siehe, der Engel, der mit mir redete, ging heraus. Und ein anderer Engel ging heraus ihm entgegen

8 und sprach zu ihm: Lauf hin und sage diesem Knaben und sprich: Jerusalem wird bewohnet werden ohne Mauern vor großer Menge der Menschen und Viehes, so drinnen sein wird.

9 und ich will, spricht der HErr, eine feurige Mauer umher sein und will drinnen sein und will mich herrlich drinnen erzeigen.

10 Hui! hui! Fliehet aus dem Mitternachtlande! spricht der HErr; denn ich hab euch in die vier Winde unter dem Himmel zerstreuet, spricht der HErr.

11 Hui, Zion, die du wohnest bei der Tochter Babel, entrinne!

12 Denn so spricht der HErr Zebaoth: Er hat mich gesandt nach der Ehre zu den Heiden, die euch beraubet haben; ihre Macht hat ein Ende. Wer euch antastet, der tastet seinen Augapfel an.

13 Denn siehe, ich will meine Hand über sie weben, daß sie sollen ein Raub werden denen, die ihnen gedienet haben, daß ihr sollt erfahren, daß mich der HErr Zebaoth gesandt hat.

14 Freue dich und sei fröhlich, du Tochter Zion! Denn siehe, ich komme und will bei dir wohnen, spricht der HErr.

15 Und sollen zu der Zeit viel Heiden zum HErrn getan werden und sollen mein Volk sein; und ich will bei dir wohnen, daß du sollst erfahren, daß mich der HErr Zebaoth zu dir gesandt hat.

16 Und der HErr wird Juda erben für sein Teil in dem heiligen Lande und wird Jerusalem wieder erwählen.

17 Alles Fleisch sei stille vor dem HErrn; denn er hat sich aufgemacht aus seiner heiligen Stätte.
