Revelation 19

Celebration in Heaven

1 After this I heard something like the loud voice of a vast multitude  * 19:1 Rv 7:9 in heaven, saying,

Hallelujah!  * 19:1 Ps 104:35; 106:1,48; 146:10; 148:14; 150:1

Salvation, glory, and power belong to our God,  * 19:1 Jb 12:13; Dn 9:9; Rv 7:10

2 because his judgments are true  * 19:2 Valid; Jn 8:16; 19:35 and righteous,  * 19:2 Jn 8:16; 19:35; Rv 15:3; 16:7

because he has judged the notorious prostitute  * 19:2 Rv 17:1

who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality;

and he has avenged the blood of his servants

that was on her hands.  * 19:2 Dt 32:43; 2Kg 9:7; Rv 6:10; 16:6; 17:6; 18:24

3 A second time they said,

Hallelujah!

Her smoke ascends forever and ever!  * 19:3 Is 34:8–10; Rv 14:11
