Daniel 12

2 Many who sleep in the dust  * 12:2 Is 26:19; Ezk 37:12–14

of the earth will awake,

some to eternal life,  * 12:2 Mt 25:46; Jn 5:28–29

and some to disgrace and eternal contempt.  * 12:2 Is 66:24

3 Those who have insight will shine

like the bright expanse of the heavens,  * 12:3 Gn 1:6; Ps 19:1; Jn 5:35

and those who lead many to righteousness,  * 12:3 Is 53:11; Dn 11:33

like the stars forever and ever.
