Prologue

1 In the beginning  * 1:1 Gn 1:1; Col 1:18 was the Word,  * 1:1 Jn 1:14; 1Jn 1:1; Rv 19:13 and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  * 1:1 Jn 20:28; Php 2:62 He was with God in the beginning.  * 1:2 Jn 8:38; 17:5; Ac 26:43 All things were created  * 1:3 Col 1:16; Heb 1:2 through him,  * 1:3 Rm 11:36 and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created.
