32 Jesus said to them, "Truly I tell you, Moses* 6:32 Ps 77:20; Mt 8:4; Heb 3:2didn’t give you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.33 For the bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world."

34 Then they said, "Sir, give us this bread always."

35 "I am* 6:35 Jn 8:24the bread of life," Jesus told them. "No one who comes to me* 6:35 Lk 14:26will ever be hungry,* 6:35 Jn 4:14; Rv 7:16and no one who believes in me* 6:35 Mt 18:6; Mk 9:42; Jn 6:35; 7:38; 11:25–26; 12:44,46; 14:12; 16:9will ever be thirsty* 6:35 Jn 7:37again.
