Joshua 1

7 Above all, be strong and very courageous to observe carefully the whole instruction my servant Moses commanded you.  * 1:7 Dt 5:32; 20:1–2; 21:1–3 Do not turn from it to the right or the left, so that you will have success wherever you go. 8 This book of instruction must not depart from your mouth;  * 1:8 Dt 31:24; Jos 8:34 you are to meditate on  * 1:8 Or to recite it day and night so that you may carefully observe everything written in it.
