19 亲爱的啊， 不要为自己伸冤， 宁可等候主的忿怒， 因为经上记着， 主说： "伸冤在我， 我必报应。"

20 相反地， "如果你的仇敌饿了， 就给他吃； 如果渴了， 就给他喝。因为你这样作， 就是把炭火堆在他的头上。"

21 不可被恶所胜， 反要以善胜恶。

19 Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath of God: for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord. 20 But if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him to drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
