1 我的心哪！ 你要称颂耶和华； 耶和华我的 神啊！ 你真伟大； 你以尊荣和威严为衣服。
2 你披上亮光好像披上外袍； 展开诸天好像铺张帐幔。
3 你在水上立起你楼阁的栋梁； 你以云彩为战车； 乘驾风的翅膀而行。
4 你用风作你的使者， 用火焰作你的仆役。
5 你把大地坚立在根基上， 使地永永远远不动摇。
6 你用深水像衣服一般覆盖大地， 使众水高过群山。
7 因你的斥责， 水就退去； 因你的雷声， 水就奔逃。
8 众水流经群山， 向下流往众谷， 流到你为它们指定的地方。
9 你定了界限， 使众水不能越过； 它们不再转回掩盖大地。
10 你使泉源在山谷中涌流， 流经群山中间。
11 使野地所有的走兽有水喝， 野驴得以解渴。
12 天上的飞鸟在水边住宿， 在树枝上鸣叫。
13 你从自己的楼阁中浇灌群山， 因你所作的事的果效， 大地就丰足。
14 你为了牲畜使青草滋生， 为了人的需用使蔬菜生长， 使粮食从地里生出；
15 又有酒使人心欢喜， 有油使人容光焕发， 有粮加添人的心力。
16 耶和华的树， 就是他所栽种的黎巴嫩香柏树， 都得到了充分的灌溉。
17 雀鸟在上面筑巢； 至于鹤， 松树是它的家。
18 高山是野山羊的住所； 岩石是石獾藏身的地方。
19 你造月亮为定节令； 太阳知道何时沉落。
20 你安设黑暗， 有了晚上， 林中的百兽就都爬出来。
21 少壮狮子吼叫觅食， 要寻求从 神而来的食物。
22 太阳升起的时候， 它们就躲避， 回到自己的洞穴躺卧。
23 人出去作工， 劳碌直到晚上。
24 耶和华啊！ 你所造的真是众多。它们都是你用智慧造成的； 全地充满你所造的东西。
25 那里有海， 又大又广； 海里有无数的活物， 大小活物都有。
26 那里有船只往来航行， 有你所造的大鱼， 在海里嬉戏。
27 这些活物都仰望你， 仰望你按时赐给它们食物。
28 你赐给它们， 它们就拾取； 你张开你的手， 它们就饱享美物。
29 你向它们掩面， 它们就惊慌； 你收回它们的气息， 它们就死亡， 归回尘土。
30 你发出你的灵， 万物就被造成； 你也使地面更换一新。
31 愿耶和华的荣耀存到永远； 愿耶和华喜悦他自己所作的。
32 他注视大地， 地就震动； 他触摸群山， 山就冒烟。
33 我一生要向耶和华歌唱； 我还在世的时候， 我要向我的 神歌颂。
34 愿我的默想蒙他喜悦； 我要因耶和华欢喜。
35 愿罪人从世上灭绝， 也不再有恶人存在。我的心哪！ 你要称颂耶和华。你们要赞美耶和华。
1 Bless Yahweh, my soul.
Yahweh, my God, you are very great.
You are clothed with honor and majesty.
2 He covers himself with light as with a garment.
He stretches out the heavens like a curtain.
3 He lays the beams of his rooms in the waters.
He makes the clouds his chariot.
He walks on the wings of the wind.
4 He makes his messengers winds,
and his servants flames of fire.
5 He laid the foundations of the earth,
that it should not be moved forever.
6 You covered it with the deep as with a cloak.
The waters stood above the mountains.
7 At your rebuke they fled.
At the voice of your thunder they hurried away.
8 The mountains rose,
the valleys sank down,
to the place which you had assigned to them.
9 You have set a boundary that they may not pass over,
that they don’t turn again to cover the earth.
10 He sends springs into the valleys.
They run among the mountains.
11 They give drink to every animal of the field.
The wild donkeys quench their thirst.
12 The birds of the sky nest by them.
They sing among the branches.
13 He waters the mountains from his rooms.
The earth is filled with the fruit of your works.
14 He causes the grass to grow for the livestock,
and plants for man to cultivate,
that he may produce food out of the earth:
15 wine that makes the heart of man glad,
oil to make his face to shine,
and bread that strengthens man’s heart.
16 Yahweh’s trees are well watered,
the cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted,
17 where the birds make their nests.
The stork makes its home in the cypress trees.
18 The high mountains are for the wild goats.
The rocks are a refuge for the rock badgers.
19 He appointed the moon for seasons.
The sun knows when to set.
20 You make darkness, and it is night,
in which all the animals of the forest prowl.
21 The young lions roar after their prey,
and seek their food from God.
22 The sun rises, and they steal away,
and lie down in their dens.
23 Man goes out to his work,
to his labor until the evening.
24 Yahweh, how many are your works!
In wisdom, you have made them all.
The earth is full of your riches.
25 There is the sea, great and wide,
in which are innumerable living things,
both small and large animals.
26 There the ships go,
and leviathan, whom you formed to play there.
27 These all wait for you,
that you may give them their food in due season.
28 You give to them; they gather.
You open your hand; they are satisfied with good.
29 You hide your face; they are troubled.
You take away their breath; they die and return to the dust.
30 You send out your Spirit and they are created.
You renew the face of the ground.
31 Let Yahweh’s glory endure forever.
Let Yahweh rejoice in his works.
32 He looks at the earth, and it trembles.
He touches the mountains, and they smoke.
33 I will sing to Yahweh as long as I live.
I will sing praise to my God while I have any being.
34 Let my meditation be sweet to him.
I will rejoice in Yahweh.
35 Let sinners be consumed out of the earth.
Let the wicked be no more.
