1 I oddělil David a knížata vojska k službě syny Azafovy a Hémanovy a Jedutunovy, kteříž by prorokovali při harfách, při loutnách a při cimbálích. Byl pak počet jejich, totiž mužů těch, jenž práci vedli v přisluhování svém,
2 Z synů Azafových: Zakur, Jozef, Netaniáš a Asarela, synové Azafovi, pod spravou Azafavou byli, kterýž prorokoval k rozkazu královu.
3 Z Jedutuna synů Jedutunových bylo šest: Godoliáš, Zeri, Izaiáš, Chasabiáš, Mattitiáš a Simei, pod spravou otce jejich Jedutuna, kterýž prorokoval při harfě k slavení a chválení Hospodina.
4 Z Hémana synové Hémanovi: Bukkiáš, Mataniáš, Uziel, Sebuel, Jerimot, Chananiáš, Chanani, Eliata, Giddalti, Romantiezer, Jazbekasa, Malloti, Hotir a Machaziot.
5 Všickni ti synové Hémanovi, proroka králova v slovích Božských, k vyvyšování moci. A dal Bůh Hémanovi synů čtrnácte a dcery tři.
6 Všickni ti byli pod spravou otce svého, při zpívání v domě Hospodinově na cymbálích, loutnách a harfách, k službě v domě Božím vedlé poručení králova Azafovi, Jedutunovi a Hémanovi.
7 Byl pak počet jich s bratřími jejich, těmi, kteříž byli vycvičení v zpěvích Hospodinových, všech mistrů dvě stě osmdesát osm.
8 Tedy metali losy, houf držících stráž naproti druhému, jakž malý, tak veliký, mistr i učedlník.
9 I padl první los v čeledi Azaf na Jozefa, na Godoliáše s bratřími a syny jeho druhý, jichž bylo dvanáct.
10 Třetí na Zakura, synům jeho a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
11 Čtvrtý na Izara, synům jeho a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
12 Pátý na Netaniáše, synům jeho a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
13 Šestý na Bukkiáše, synům jeho a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
14 Sedmý na Jesarele, synům jeho a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
15 Osmý na Izaiáše, synům jeho a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
16 Devátý na Mataniáše, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
17 Desátý na Simei, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
18 Jedenáctý na Azarele, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
19 Dvanáctý na Chasabiáše, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
20 Třináctý na Subaele, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
21 Čtrnáctý na Mattitiáše, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
22 Patnáctý na Jerimota, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
23 Šestnáctý na Chananiáše, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
24 Sedmnáctý na Jazbekasa, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
25 Osmnáctý na Chanani, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
26 Devatenáctý na Malloti, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
27 Dvadcátý na Eliatu, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
28 Jedenmecítmý na Hotira, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
29 Dvamecítmý na Giddalta, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
30 Třímecítmý na Machaziota, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
31 Čtyřmecítmý na Romantiezera, synům a bratřím jeho dvanácti.
1 And David and the heads of the host separate for service, of the sons of Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun, who are prophesying with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals, and the number of the workmen is according to their service.
2 Of sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, sons of Asaph, [are] by the side of Asaph, who is prophesying by the side of the king.
3 Of Jeduthun: sons of Jeduthun, Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, Shisshah, [are] by the side of their father Jeduthun; with a harp he is prophesying, for giving of thanks and of praise to Jehovah.
4 Of Heman: sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth;
5 all these [are] sons of Heman -- seer of the king in the things of God -- to lift up a horn; and God giveth to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6 All these [are] by the side of their father in the song of the house of Jehovah, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; by the side of the king [are] Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman.
7 And their number, with their brethren -- taught in the song of Jehovah, all who are intelligent -- is two hundred, eighty and eight.
8 And they cause to fall lots -- charge over-against [charge], as well the small as the great, the intelligent with the learner.
9 And the first lot goeth out for Asaph to Joseph; [to] Gedaliah the second; he, and his brethren and his sons, twelve;
10 the third [to] Zaccur, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
11 the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
12 the fifth [to] Nethaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
13 the sixth [to] Bukkiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
14 the seventh [to] Jesharelah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
15 the eighth [to] Jeshaiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
16 the ninth [to] Mattaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
17 the tenth [to] Shimei, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
18 eleventh [to] Azareel, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
19 the twelfth [to] Hashabiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
20 at the thirteenth [to] Shubael, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
21 at the fourteenth [to] Mattithiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
22 at the fifteenth [to] Jeremoth, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
23 at the sixteenth [to] Hananiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
24 at the seventeenth [to] Joshbekashah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
25 at the eighteenth [to] Hanani, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
26 at the nineteenth [to] Mallothi, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
27 at the twentieth [to] Eliathah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
28 at the one and twentieth [to] Hothir, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
29 at the two and twentieth [to] Giddalti, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
30 at the three and twentieth [to] Mahazioth, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
31 at the four and twentieth [to] Romamti-Ezer, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
