1 [{A Psalm} of David.] Bless Jehovah, O my soul; and all that is within me, {bless} his holy name!

25 And ye shall serve Jehovah your God; and he shall bless thy bread and thy water; and I will take sickness away from thy midst.

2 Thou {my soul} hast said to Jehovah, Thou art the Lord: my goodness {extendeth} not to thee; -

11 Serve Jehovah with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee; I will sing forth thy name, O Most High.

9 And it came to pass when Moses entered into the tent, the pillar of cloud descended, and stood at the entrance of the tent, and {Jehovah} talked with Moses.

10 And all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance of the tent; and all the people rose and worshipped, every man at the entrance of his tent.

24 God {is} a spirit; and they who worship him must worship {him} in spirit and truth.

36 For of him, and through him, and for him {are} all things: to him be glory for ever. Amen.

1 Give ye thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; make known his acts among the peoples.

42 But God turned and delivered them up to serve the host of heaven; as it is written in {the} book of the prophets, Have ye offered me victims and sacrifices forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

43 Yea, ye took up the tent of Moloch, and the star of {your} god Remphan, the forms which ye made to do homage to them; and I will transport you beyond Babylon.

11 For it is written, *I* live, saith {the} Lord, that to me shall bow every knee, and every tongue shall confess to God.

11 Why art thou cast down, my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God; for I shall yet praise him, {who is} the health of my countenance, and my God.

19 speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and chanting with your heart to the Lord;

11 Thine, Jehovah, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the splendour, and the majesty; for all that is in the heavens and on the earth is thine: thine, Jehovah, is the kingdom, and thou art exalted as Head above all;

9 Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and granted him a name, that which is above every name,

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of heavenly and earthly and infernal {beings},

11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ {is} Lord to God {the} Father's glory.

21 He is thy praise, and he is thy God, who hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.

18 Let no one fraudulently deprive you of your prize, doing his own will in humility and worship of angels, entering into things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by the mind of his flesh,

19 and not holding fast the head, from whom all the body, ministered to and united together by the joints and bands, increases with the increase of God.

38 And he said, I believe, Lord: and he did him homage.

9 All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorify thy name.

10 For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God, thou alone.

1 Jehovah, thou art my God: I will exalt thee; I will celebrate thy name, for thou hast done wonderful things; counsels of old {which are} faithfulness {and} truth.

16 They moved him to jealousy with strange gods, With abominations did they provoke him to anger.

17 They sacrificed unto demons who are not God; To gods whom they knew not, To new ones, who came newly up, Whom your fathers revered not.

18 Of the Rock that begot thee wast thou unmindful, And thou hast forgotten *God who brought thee forth.

8 And Jesus answering him said, It is written, Thou shalt do homage to {the} Lord thy God, and him alone shalt thou serve.

16 Let the word of the Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another, in psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God.

12 And ye shall call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you;

34 Give thanks unto Jehovah, for he is good; For his loving-kindness {endureth} for ever.

35 And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us, and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks unto thy holy name, To triumph in thy praise.

36 Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel, from eternity and to eternity! And all the people said, Amen! and praised Jehovah.

4 Who shall not fear {thee}, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for {thou} only {art} holy; for all nations shall come and do homage before thee; for thy righteousnesses have been made manifest.

3 that which we have seen and heard we report to you, that *ye* also may have fellowship with us; and our fellowship {is} indeed with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

17 I called unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.

6 Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before Jehovah our Maker.

17 For though the fig-tree shall not blossom, Neither shall fruit be in the vines; The labour of the olive-tree shall fail, And the fields shall yield no food; The flock shall be cut off from the fold, And there shall be no herd in the stalls:

18 Yet I will rejoice in Jehovah, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

11 Thou art worthy, O our Lord and {our} God, to receive glory and honour and power; for *thou* hast created all things, and for thy will they were, and they have been created.

23 But {the} hour is coming and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for also the Father seeks such as his worshippers.

24 God {is} a spirit; and they who worship him must worship {him} in spirit and truth.

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving {and} into his courts with praise; give thanks unto him, bless his name:

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the compassions of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, {which is} your intelligent service.

22 Wherefore thou art great, Jehovah Elohim; for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

3 For thy loving-kindness is better than life: my lips shall praise thee.

4 So will I bless thee while I live; I will lift up my hands in thy name.

2 Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name; worship Jehovah in holy splendour.

15 By him therefore let us offer {the} sacrifice of praise continually to God, that is, {the} fruit of {the} lips confessing his name.

9 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him; Meditate upon all his wondrous works.

1 [To the chief Musician. A Song: a Psalm.] Shout aloud unto God, all the earth:

2 Sing forth the glory of his name, make his praise glorious;

3 Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! because of the greatness of thy strength, thine enemies come cringing unto thee.

4 All the earth shall worship thee, and sing psalms unto thee: they shall sing forth thy name. Selah.

1 Hallelujah! Praise *God in his sanctuary; praise him in the firmament of his power.

2 Praise him in his mighty acts; praise him according to the abundance of his greatness.

3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet; praise him with lute and harp;

4 Praise him with the tambour and dance; praise him with stringed instruments and the pipe;

5 Praise him with loud cymbals; praise him with high sounding cymbals.

6 Let everything that hath breath praise Jah. Hallelujah!

7 saying with a loud voice, Fear God and give him glory, for the hour of his judgment has come; and do homage to him who has made the heaven and the earth and the sea and fountains of waters.

13 And the Lord saith, Forasmuch as this people draw near with their mouth, and honour me with their lips, but their heart is removed far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment taught of men;

6 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul, as a parched land, {thirsteth} after thee. Selah.

10 Then says Jesus to him, Get thee away, Satan, for it is written, Thou shalt do homage to {the} Lord thy God, and him alone shalt thou serve.

21 Jesus says to her, Woman, believe me, {the} hour is coming when ye shall neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem worship the Father.

28 Wherefore let us, receiving a kingdom not to be shaken, have grace, by which let us serve God acceptably with reverence and fear.

29 For also our God {is} a consuming fire.

16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside and serve other gods, and bow down to them,

8 My mouth shall be filled with thy praise, with thy glory, all the day.

5 thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them; for I, Jehovah thy God, am a jealous *God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons to the third and to the fourth {generation} of them that hate me,

11 Who is like unto thee, Jehovah, among the gods? Who is like unto thee, glorifying thyself in holiness, Fearful {in} praises, doing wonders?

14 For thou shalt worship no other *God; for Jehovah-Jealous is his name-is a jealous *God;

34 Give thanks unto Jehovah, for he is good; For his loving-kindness {endureth} for ever.

1 [A Psalm of David; when he was in the wilderness of Judah.] O God, thou art my *God; early will I seek thee. My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh languisheth for thee, in a dry and weary land without water:

3 Blessed {be} the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassions, and God of all encouragement;

4 who encourages us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to encourage those who are in any tribulation whatever, through the encouragement with which we ourselves are encouraged of God.

5 Exalt Jehovah our God, and worship at his footstool. He is holy!

3 Let not any one deceive you in any manner, because {it will not be} unless the apostasy have first come, and the man of sin have been revealed, the son of perdition;

4 who opposes and exalts himself on high against all called God, or object of veneration; so that he himself sits down in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the compassions of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, {which is} your intelligent service.

2 And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of {your} mind, that ye may prove what {is} the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

23 Ye that fear Jehovah, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and revere him, all ye the seed of Israel.

6 Let everything that hath breath praise Jah. Hallelujah!

8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse {your} hands, sinners, and purify {your} hearts, ye double-minded.
