Mulher

1 The wisdom of women buildeth their house; but folly plucketh it down with her hands.


1 And it came to pass afterwards that *he* went through {the country} city by city, and village by village, preaching and announcing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God; and the twelve {were} with him,

2 and certain women who had been healed of wicked spirits and infirmities, Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,

3 and Joanna, wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, who ministered to him of their substance.


3 that the elder women in like manner be in deportment as becoming those who have to say to sacred things, not slanderers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of what is right;

4 that they may admonish the young women to be attached to {their} husbands, to be attached to {their} children,

5 discreet, chaste, diligent in home work, good, subject to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be evil spoken of.


21 And Jehovah Elohim caused a deep sleep to fall upon Man; and he slept. And he took one of his ribs and closed up flesh in its stead.

22 And Jehovah Elohim built the rib that he had taken from Man into a woman; and brought her to Man.

23 And Man said, This time it is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh: this shall be called Woman, because this was taken out of a man.


16 A gracious woman retaineth honour; and the violent retain riches.


27 And God created Man in his image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.


11 And now, my daughter, fear not: all that thou sayest will I do to thee; for all the gate of my people knows that thou art a woman of worth.


11 {The} women in like manner grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.


19 It is better to dwell in a desert land. than with a contentious and irritable woman.


30 Gracefulness is deceitful and beauty is vain; a woman {that} feareth Jehovah, she shall be praised.


7 {Ye} husbands likewise, dwell with {them} according to knowledge, as with a weaker, {even} the female, vessel, giving {them} honour, as also fellow-heirs of {the} grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered.


4 A woman of worth is a crown to her husband; but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.


1 Likewise, wives, {be} subject to your own husbands, that, even if any are disobedient to the word, they may be gained without {the} word by the conversation of the wives,


14 House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers; but a prudent wife is from Jehovah.
