1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having seven plagues, which are the last, for in them is finished the wrath of God. 2 And I saw as it were a glassy sea mingled with fire; and them that come victorious from the beast, and from his image, and from the number of his name, standing by the glassy sea, having harps of God. 3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, O Lord God, the Almighty; righteous and true are thy ways, thou King of the ages. 4 Who shall not fear, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy; for all the nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy righteous acts have been made manifest. 5 And after these things I saw, and the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: 6 and there came out from the temple the seven angels that had the seven plagues, arrayed with precious stone, pure and bright, and girt about their breasts with golden girdles. 7 And one of the four living creatures gave unto the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. 8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and none was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels should be finished.

1 Vi no céu outro sinal grande e maravilhoso: sete anjos que tinham os sete últimos flagelos, pois com estes se consumou a ira de Deus.

2 Vi como que um mar de vidro, misturado com fogo, e também os que venceram a besta, a sua imagem e o número do seu nome. Eles estavam em pé junto ao mar de vidro, tendo harpas que lhes foram dadas por Deus. 3 E entoavam o cântico de Moisés, servo de Deus, e o cântico do Cordeiro, dizendo:

"Grandes e admiráveis

são as tuas obras,

Senhor Deus, Todo-Poderoso!

Justos e verdadeiros

são os teus caminhos,

ó Rei das nações!

4 Quem não temerá

e não glorificará o teu nome,

ó Senhor?

Pois só tu és santo.

Por isso, todas as nações virão

e se prostrarão diante de ti,

porque os teus atos de justiça

se fizeram manifestos."

5 Depois destas coisas, olhei, e abriu-se no céu o santuário do tabernáculo do testemunho. 6 E os sete anjos que tinham os sete flagelos saíram do santuário, vestidos de linho puro e resplandecente e cingidos, à altura do peito, com cintos de ouro. 7 Então um dos quatro seres viventes deu aos sete anjos sete taças de ouro, cheias da ira de Deus, que vive para todo o sempre. 8 O santuário se encheu da fumaça da glória de Deus e do seu poder, e ninguém podia entrar no santuário, enquanto não se cumprissem os sete flagelos dos sete anjos.
