1 But in the latter days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and peoples shall flow unto it. 2 And many nations shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 3 and he shall judge between many peoples, and shall reprove strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. 5 For all the peoples will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever. 6 In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven away, and her that I have afflicted; 7 and I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth even for ever. 8 And thou, O tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come; yea, the former dominion shall come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem. 9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? Is there no king in thee, is thy counsellor perished, that pangs have taken hold of thee as of a woman in travail? 10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and shalt dwell in the field, and shalt come even unto Babylon; there shalt thou be rescued; there shall the LORD redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies. 11 And now many nations are assembled against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye see its desire upon Zion. 12 But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he hath gathered them as the sheaves to the threshingfloor. 13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many peoples: and thou shalt devote their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.

1 Nos últimos dias,

o monte do templo do Senhor

será estabelecido

no alto dos montes

e se elevará sobre as colinas,

e para ele afluirão os povos.

2 Muitas nações virão e dirão:

"Venham, subamos

ao monte do Senhor

e ao templo do Deus de Jacó,

para que nos ensine

os seus caminhos,

e andemos nas suas veredas."

Porque de Sião sairá a lei,

e a palavra do Senhor,

de Jerusalém.

3 Ele julgará entre muitos povos

e corrigirá nações poderosas

e distantes.

Estas transformarão as suas espadas

em lâminas de arados

e as suas lanças, em foices.

Nação não levantará a espada

contra nação,

nem aprenderão mais a guerra.

4 Mas cada um se assentará

debaixo da sua videira

e debaixo da sua figueira,

e não haverá quem os atemorize,

porque a boca do

Senhor dos Exércitos o disse.

5 Porque todos os povos andam,

cada um em nome do seu deus;

mas, quanto a nós, andaremos

em nome do Senhor, nosso Deus,

para todo o sempre.

6 "Naquele dia",

diz o Senhor,

"congregarei os que coxeiam

e recolherei

os que foram expulsos

e os que eu tinha afligido.

7 Dos que coxeiam

farei um remanescente

e dos que foram lançados

para longe,

uma nação poderosa;

e o Senhor reinará sobre eles

no monte Sião,

desde agora e para sempre.

8 A você, ó torre do rebanho,

monte da filha de Sião,

a você virá, sim,

virá o primeiro domínio,

o reino da filha de Jerusalém."

9 Agora, por que você está

gritando tão alto?

Será porque você não tem rei?

Morreram os seus conselheiros?

Apoderou-se de você a dor

como da mulher

que está dando à luz?

10 Suporte as dores e faça força,

filha de Sião,

como a mulher

que está dando à luz.

Porque agora vocês terão

de sair da cidade

e morar nos campos;

vocês irão para a Babilônia.

Ali, porém, vocês serão libertados;

ali, o Senhor os remirá

das mãos dos inimigos.

11 Agora muitas nações se reuniram

contra você, dizendo:

"Que Jerusalém seja profanada!

Que os nossos olhos se deliciem

com a ruína de Sião!"

12 Mas essas nações não conhecem

os pensamentos do Senhor,

nem entendem o seu plano:

ele as ajuntou como feixes

a serem batidos na eira.

13 Levante-se e comece a debulhar,

ó filha de Sião,

porque eu lhe darei chifres de ferro

e cascos de bronze.

Você esmagará muitos povos,

e as riquezas que eles adquiriram

serão dedicadas ao Senhor,

e os bens que eles conquistaram

pela força

serão consagrados ao Senhor

de toda a terra.
