18 Chasten thy son, seeing there is hope; and set not thy heart on his destruction.

6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be upon thine heart: 7 and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and the law of kindness is on her tongue.

10 the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Assemble me the people, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

1 Give ear, O my people, to my law; incline your ears to the words of my mouth.

2 I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old:

3 Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.

4 We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wondrous works that he hath done.

24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

15 Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself causeth shame to his mother.

8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: 9 For they shall be a chaplet of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.

5 and thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be upon thine heart: 7 and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

3 Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.

4 We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wondrous works that he hath done.

6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not depart from it.

8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

14 But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

15 and that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

17 Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.

14 But abide thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 and that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

1 Hear, my sons, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding:

4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but nurture them in the chastening and admonition of the Lord.

18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul; and ye shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes. 19 And ye shall teach them your children, talking of them, when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates: 21 that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, upon the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.

7 It is for chastening that ye endure; God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father chasteneth not?

20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing in the Lord. 21 Fathers, provoke not your children, that they be not discouraged.

3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and streams upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

7 and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

4 We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wondrous works that he hath done.

5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:

6 That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and tell them to their children:

7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:

13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beat him with the rod, he shall not die. 14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from Sheol.

19 The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.

13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
