Humildade

8 Finally, be ye all likeminded, compassionate, loving as brethren, tenderhearted, humbleminded:

12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour goeth humility.

14 if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

3 doing nothing through faction or through vainglory, but in lowliness of mind each counting other better than himself;

8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

18 Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

4 The reward of humility and the fear of the LORD is riches, and honour, and life.

12 Put on therefore, as God’s elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;

35 And he sat down, and called the twelve; and he saith unto them, If any man would be first, he shall be last of all, and minister of all.

13 For ye, brethren, were called for freedom; only use not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love be servants one to another.

48 and said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this little child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same is great.

23 A man’s pride shall bring him low: but he that is of a lowly spirit shall obtain honour.

33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour goeth humility.

8 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he instruct sinners in the way.

9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

20 Now unto our God and Father be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.

2 When therefore thou doest alms, sound not a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have received their reward.

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;

2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

3 Whose adorning let it not be the outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on apparel; 4 but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible apparel of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall exalt you.

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? let him shew by his good life his works in meekness of wisdom.

2 with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

28 and the base things of the world, and the things that are despised, did God choose, yea and the things that are not, that he might bring to nought the things that are: 29 that no flesh should glory before God.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Set not your mind on high things, but condescend to things that are lowly. Be not wise in your own conceits.
