1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?


6 For he shall never be moved; the righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.

7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.


20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before you, that ye sin not.


27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.


28 And be not afraid of them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.


6 In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

5 For in the day of trouble he shall keep me secretly in his pavilion: in the covert of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall lift me up upon a rock.


3 What time I am afraid, I will put my trust in thee.


10 Fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.


29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father: 30 but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear not therefore; ye are of more value than many sparrows.


33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell securely, and shall be quiet without fear of evil.


7 casting all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for you.


18 There is no fear in love: but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath punishment; and he that feareth is not made perfect in love.


25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.


1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.


4 I sought the LORD, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.


38 And he himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? 39 And he awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40 And he said unto them, Why are ye fearful? have ye not yet faith?


1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.


6 So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do unto me?


15 For ye received not the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.


3 What time I am afraid, I will put my trust in thee.

4 In God I will praise his word: in God have I put my trust, I will not be afraid; what can flesh do unto me?


3 For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. And wouldest thou have no fear of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise from the same:


8 Be not afraid because of them: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.


4 My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.

5 Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.


7 For God gave us not a spirit of fearfulness; but of power and love and discipline.


14 Since then the children are sharers in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same; that through death he might bring to nought him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 and might deliver all them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.


15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host with horses and chariots was round about the city. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? 16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.


30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.


57 Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not.


32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.


13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.


6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?


5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.


24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not affrighted, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.


8 And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.


22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.


13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.


49 but they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was an apparition, and cried out: 50 for they all saw him, and were troubled. But he straightway spake with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.


5 Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee. 6 So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do unto me?


4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.


6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.


6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.


21 Fear not, O land, be glad and rejoice; for the LORD hath done great things.


14 But and if ye should suffer for righteousness’ sake, blessed are ye: and fear not their fear, neither be troubled;


4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompence of God; he will come and save you.


1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2 Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, and though the mountains be moved in the heart of the seas;

3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah
