Mentira

19 God is not a man, that he should lie; Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

1 But the Spirit saith expressly, that in later times some shall fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, 2 through the hypocrisy of men that speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron; 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by them that believe and know the truth.

16 There be six things which the LORD hateth; yea, seven which are an abomination unto him: 17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood; 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief; 19 A false witness that uttereth lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father it is your will to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stood not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.

16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes.

11 Ye shall not steal; neither shall ye deal falsely, nor lie one to another.

9 lie not one to another; seeing that ye have put off the old man with his doings, 10 and have put on the new man, which is being renewed unto knowledge after the image of him that created him:

6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vapour driven to and fro; they that seek them seek death.

1 Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;

2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit have they opened against me: they have spoken unto me with a lying tongue.

22 Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.

13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

5 A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness uttereth lies.

14 But if ye have bitter jealousy and faction in your heart, glory not and lie not against the truth.

25 Wherefore, putting away falsehood, speak ye truth each one with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

15 Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.

7 Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.
