28 Like the appearance of Gen. 9:13;[Rev. 4:3;10:1] the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around.
Such was the appearance of the likeness of ch. 3:23;8:4;9:3;10:4,18,19;11:22,23;43:4,5;44:4;[Ex. 24:16] the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, ch. 3:23;43:3;44:4;[Gen. 17:3,17;Josh. 5:14;Dan. 8:17;Acts 9:4;Rev. 1:17]I fell on my face, and I heard the voice of one speaking.
28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.
28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.
This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.
28 All around him was a glowing halo, like a rainbow shining in the clouds on a rainy day. This is what the glory of the Lord looked like to me. When I saw it, I fell face down on the ground, and I heard someone’s voice speaking to me.
28 (Gen. 9:13); Rev. 4:3; 10:1Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. Ezek. 3:23; 8:4This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.
So when I saw it,Gen. 17:3; Ezek. 3:23; Dan. 8:17; Acts 9:4; Rev. 1:17I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.
28 Like the appearance of the rainbow 1:28 Lit which occurs inin the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking.
28 The appearance of the brilliant light all around was like that of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day. 1:28 Gn 9:13; Rv 4:3; 10:1 This was the appearance of the likeness of the Lord’s glory. 1:28 Ex 24:16; Ezk 8:4; 11:22–23; 43:4–5 When I saw it, I fell facedown and heard a voice speaking. 1:28 Gn 17:3; Ezk 3:23; Dn 8:17; Rv 1:17
28 As the appearance of the rainbow when it is in a cloud on a rainy day: this was the appearance of the brightness round about.
25-28 And then, as they stood with folded wings, there was a voice from above the dome over their heads. Above the dome there was something that looked like a throne, sky-blue like a sapphire, with a humanlike figure towering above the throne. From what I could see, from the waist up he looked like burnished bronze and from the waist down like a blazing fire. Brightness everywhere! The way a rainbow springs out of the sky on a rainy day—that’s what it was like. It turned out to be the Glory of God!
When I saw all this, I fell to my knees, my face to the ground. Then I heard a voice.
