17 Therefore he had Phil. 2:7to be made like his brothers in every respect, ch. 4:15,16;[ch. 5:2,7,8] so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest ch. 5:1;Rom. 15:17in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
