12 For *1 Pet. 1:23the word of God is living and *[Jer. 23:29;1 Thess. 2:13] active, *Isa. 49:2;Eph. 6:17sharper than any *Prov. 5:4;Rev. 1:16;2:12two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and *[1 Cor. 14:24,25]discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And *2 Chr. 16:9;Job 34:21;Ps. 33:13-15no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are *Job 26:6naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
