Jesus Is Equal with God

18 This was why the Jews *See ch. 7:1were seeking all the more to kill him, *See ch. 10:33because not only was he *ver. 16breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God *[Rom. 8:32] his own Father, *Phil. 2:6making himself equal with God.
