The Coming of the Son of Man

25 "And *Isa. 13:10;24:23;Ezek. 32:7;Joel 2:10,31;3:15;Acts 2:20;[Amos 5:20;8:9;Zeph. 1:15;Rev. 6:12;8:12] there will be signs in sun and moon *Rev. 6:13;[Isa. 14:12;34:4] and stars, and on the earth *[Ps. 65:7]distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves,26 people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For *[Isa. 34:4]the powers of the heavens will be shaken.27 And then they will see *See Dan. 7:13the Son of Man coming in a cloud *Matt. 26:64;Mark 9:1;[Matt. 25:31]with power and great glory.28 Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and *Job 10:15raise your heads, because *Rom. 8:23;Eph. 4:30;[Rom. 13:11]; See ch. 1:68your redemption is drawing near."
