17 And *[ch. 11:23] these signs will accompany those who believe: *Acts 5:16;8:7;16:18;19:12;See ch. 9:38in my name they will cast out demons; *Acts 2:4;10:46;19:6;1 Cor. 12:10,28,30;13:1;14:2,4they will speak in new tongues;18 *Luke 10:19;Acts 28:3-5they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; *See ch. 5:23they will lay their hands *Acts 5:15,16;8:7;9:12,17;28:8;James 5:14,15;[John 14:12]on the sick, and they will recover."
