3 because I was jealous of self-important people—I saw how well the wicked were doing.
16 So I thought about it and tried to understand,73:16. The psalmist is trying to understand why the wicked prosper. but it looked like a lot of hard work to me—
17 until I went into God’s Temple. Then I understood what happens to the wicked in the end.
2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
2 But as for me, my feet had almost slipped;
I had nearly lost my foothold.
3 For I envied the arrogant

17 till I entered the sanctuary of God;
then I understood their final destiny.

16 Thine is the day, and thine is the night: thou hast made the morning light and the sun.
17 Thou hast made all the borders of the earth: the summer and the spring were formed by thee.
