1 In quel giorno, dirai: "Io ti celebro, o Eterno! Poiché, dopo esserti adirato con me, l’ira tua s’è calmata, e tu m’hai consolato.2 Ecco, Iddio è la mia salvezza, io avrò fiducia, e non avrò paura di nulla; poiché l’Eterno, l’Eterno è la mia forza ed il mio cantico, ed egli è stato la mia salvezza".3 Voi attingerete con gioia l’acqua dalle fonti della salvezza,4 e in quel giorno direte: "Celebrate l’Eterno, invocate il suo nome, fate conoscere le sue opere tra i popoli, proclamate che il suo nome è eccelso!5 Salmeggiate all’Eterno, perché ha fatte cose magnifiche; siano esse note a tutta la terra!6 Manda de’ gridi, de’ gridi di gioia, o abitatrice di Sion! poiché il Santo d’Israele è grande in mezzo a te".

1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. 3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. 5 Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. 6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
