18 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

19 Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.

3 A husband should fulfill his obligation to his wife, and a wife should do the same for her husband.

4 A wife does not have authority over her own body, but her husband does. In the same way, a husband doesn't have authority over his own body, but his wife does.

14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which ties everything together in unity.

15 Let the peace of Christ also rule in your hearts, to which you were called in one body, and be thankful.

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you with all richness and wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, and singing to God with thankfulness in your hearts.

17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

5 So put to death your worldly impulses: sexual sin, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed (which is idolatry).

4 Let marriage be kept honorable in every way, and the marriage bed undefiled. For God will judge those who commit sexual sins, especially those who commit adultery.

15 Make sure that no one pays back evil for evil. Instead, always pursue what is good for each other and for everyone else.

27 Peoplewere eating, drinking, marrying, and being given in marriage right up to the day when Noah went into the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed all of them.

25 Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it,

26 so that he might make it holy by cleansing it, washing it with water and the word,

18 Keep on running away from sexual immorality. Any other sin that a person commits is outside his body, but the person who sins sexually sins against his own body.

19 You know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God, don't you? You do not belong to yourselves,

20 because you were bought for a price. Therefore, glorify God with your bodies.

2 For a married woman is bound by the law to her husband while he is living, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law concerning her husband.

3 So while her husband is living, she will be called an adulterer even if she lives with another man. But if her husband dies, she is free from this law, so that she is not an adulterer if she marries another man.

25 Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it,

26 so that he might make it holy by cleansing it, washing it with water and the word,

27 and might present the church to himself in all its glory, without a spot or wrinkle or anything of the kind, but holy and without fault.

28 In the same way, husbands must love their wives as they love their own bodies. A man who loves his wife loves himself.

29 For no one has ever hated his own body, but he nourishes and tenderly cares for it, as Christ does the church.

30 For we are parts of his body—of his flesh and of his bones.

14 For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified because of his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified because of her husband. Otherwise, your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.

10 for those involved in sexual immorality, for homosexuals, for kidnappers, for liars, for false witnesses, and for whatever else goes against the healthy teaching

3 Do not let sexual sin, impurity of any kind, or greed even be mentioned among you, as is proper for saints.

31 "It was also said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife must give her a written notice of divorce.’

32 But I say to you, any man who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, causes her to commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery."

4 Love is always patient, Love is always kind, Love is never envious Or vaunted up with pride. Nor is she conceited,

5 And never is she rude, Never does she think of self Or ever get annoyed. She never is resentful,

6 Is never glad with sin, But always glad to side with truth, Whene'er the truth should win.

7 She bears up under everything, Believes the best in all, There is no limit to her hope, And never will she fall.

2 But because sexual immorality is so rampant, every man should have his own wife, and every woman should have her own husband.

8 I say to those who are unmarried, especially to widows: It is good for them to remain like me.

9 However, if they cannot control themselves, they should get married, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

10 To married people I give this command (not really I, but the Lord): A wife must not leave her husband.

11 But if she does leave him, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. Likewise, a husband must not abandon his wife.

6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, man must never separate."

19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, promiscuity,

20 idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, rivalry, jealously, outbursts of anger, quarrels, conflicts, factions,

21 envy, murder, drunkenness, wild partying, and things like that. I am telling you now, as I have told you in the past, that people who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

4 He answered them,"Haven't you read that the one who madethem at the beginning ‘made them male and female’

5 and said, ‘That is why a man will leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?

6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, man must never separate."

8 "When you are invited by someone to a wedding banquet, don't sit down at the place of honor in case someone more important than you was invited by him.

21 They did not repent of their murders, their deeds of witchcraft, their acts of sexual immorality, or their thefts.

28 In the same way, husbands must love their wives as they love their own bodies. A man who loves his wife loves himself.

29 For no one has ever hated his own body, but he nourishes and tenderly cares for it, as Christ does the church.

30 For we are parts of his body—of his flesh and of his bones.

22 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands as to the Lord.

23 For the husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. It is he who is the Savior of the body.

24 Indeed, just as the church is submissive to Christ, so wives must be submissive to their husbands in everything.

3 For it is God's will that you be sanctified: You must abstain from sexual immorality;

4 each of you must know how to control his own body in holiness and honor,

5 not with passion and lust like the Gentiles who do not know God;

3 A husband should fulfill his obligation to his wife, and a wife should do the same for her husband.

4 A wife does not have authority over her own body, but her husband does. In the same way, a husband doesn't have authority over his own body, but his wife does.

5 Do not withhold yourselves from each other unless you agree to do so for a set time in order to devote yourselves to prayer. Then you should come together again so that Satan does not tempt you through your lack of self-control.

14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which ties everything together in unity.

36 Now Anna, a prophetess, was also there. She was a descendant of Phanuel from the tribe of Asher. She was very old, having lived with her husband for seven years after her marriage,

29 In fact, everyone who has left his homes, brothers, sisters, father, mother, children, or fields because of my name will receive a hundred times as muchand will inherit eternal life.

4 They said, "Moses allowed a man to write a certificate of divorce and to divorce her."

5 But Jesus said to them,"It was because of your hardness of heart that he wrote this command for you.

6 But from the beginning of creation, ‘Godmade them male and female.’

7 ‘That is why a man will leave his father and mother and be united with his wife,

8 and the two will become one flesh.’So they are no longer two, but one flesh.

9 Therefore, what God has joined together, man must never separate."

6 An elder must be blameless. He must be the husband of one wife and have children who are believers and who are not accused of having wild lifestyles or of being rebellious.

27 "You have heard that it was said, ‘You must not commit adultery.’

28 But I say to you, anyone who stares at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

1 Now concerning the things you wrote about: It's good for a man not to touch a woman.

2 But because sexual immorality is so rampant, every man should have his own wife, and every woman should have her own husband.

32 I want you to be free from concerns. An unmarried man is concerned about the affairs of the Lord, that is, about how he can please the Lord.

33 But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world, that is, about how he can please his wife,

34 and so his attention is divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the affairs of the Lord, so that she may be holy in body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world, that is, about how she can please her husband.

7 In a similar way, you husbands must live with your wives in an understanding manner, as with a most delicate vessel. Honor them as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing may interfere with your prayers.

31 "That is why a man will leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and the two will become one flesh."

31 "That is why a man will leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and the two will become one flesh."

32 This is a great secret, but I am talking about Christ and the church.

33 But each individual man among you must love his wife as he loves himself; and may the wife fear her husband.

22 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands as to the Lord.

23 For the husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. It is he who is the Savior of the body.

13 Food is for the stomach, and the stomach is for food, but God will put an end to both of them. The body is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

14 God raised the Lord, and by his power he will also raise us.

9 You know that wicked people will not inherit the kingdom of God, don't you? Stop deceiving yourselves! Sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals,

10 thieves, greedy people, drunks, slanderers, and robbers will not inherit the kingdom of God.

2 His judgments are true and just.He has condemned the notorious prostitutewho corrupted the world with her immorality. He has taken revenge on herfor the blood of his servants."

2 Therefore, an elder must be blameless, the husband of one wife, stable, sensible, respectable, a lover of strangers, and teachable.

12 Deacons must be husbands of one wife and must manage their children and their families well.

33 But each individual man among you must love his wife as he loves himself; and may the wife fear her husband.

20 But I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet and who teaches and leads my servants to practice immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.

10 Then Jesus stood up and said to her,"Woman, where are your accusers?Hasn't anyone condemned you?"

11 She said, "No one, sir."Then Jesus said,"I don't condemn you either. Go home, and from now on do not sin any more."

24 "Teacher, Moses said, ‘If a man dies having no children, his brother must marry the widow and have children for his brother.’

30 For in the resurrection, peopleneither marry nor are given in marriage but are like the angelsin heaven.

39 A wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, only in the Lord.

1 It is actually reported that sexual immorality exists among you, and of a kind that is not found even among the Gentiles. A man is actually living with his father's wife!

2 And you are being arrogant instead of being filled with grief and seeing to it that the man who did this is removed from among you.

5 and said, ‘That is why a man will leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?

6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, man must never separate."

12 Andif a womandivorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery."

14 Stop becoming unevenly yoked with unbelievers. What partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? What fellowship can light have with darkness?
