Jonas 2

ယော​န​၏​ချီး​မွမ်း​သီ​ချင်း

1 ငါး၏​ဝမ်း​ထဲ​မှာ နေ​စဉ်​တွင်၊ ယော​န​သည် မိ​မိ​ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင် ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​ကို ဆု​တောင်း​သော​စ​ကား​ဟူ​မူ​ကား၊ 2 ငါ​သည် ဒု​က္ခ​ဆင်း​ရဲ​ကို ခံ​ရ​သော​ကြောင့်၊ ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​ကို​ဟစ်​ခေါ်၍ ငါ့​စ​ကား​ကို ကြား​တော်​မူ၏။ မ​ရ​ဏ​နိုင်​ငံ၏​ဝမ်း​ထဲ​က ဟစ်​ခေါ်​သော စ​ကား​သံ​ကို နား​ထောင်​တော်​မူ၏။ 3 ကိုယ်​တော်​သည် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ကို နက်​နဲ​သော​အ​ရပ်၊ သ​မု​ဒ္ဒ​ရာ​အ​လယ်​ချက်​ထဲ​သို့ ချ​ပစ်​တော်​မူ​သ​ဖြင့်၊ ပင်​လယ်​ရေ​သည် ဝိုင်း၍ လှိုင်း​တံ​ပိုး​တော်​ရှိ​သ​မျှ​တို့​သည် လွှမ်း​မွန်း​ကြ​ပါ၏။ 4 ထို​သို့ မျက်​မှောက်​တော်​မှ နှင်​ထုတ်​ခြင်း​ကို​ခံ​ရ​သော်​လည်း၊ သန့်​ရှင်း​သော​ဗိ​မာန်​တော်​ကို မျက်​မှောက်​ပြု​မြဲ ပြု​ပါ​မည်​ဟု အောက်​မေ့​လျက်​နေ၏။ 5 ရေ​တို့​သည် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​အ​သက်​ကို သေ​စေ​ခြင်း​ငှာ ဝိုင်း​သ​ဖြင့်၊ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​သည် ပင်​လယ်​အ​လယ်၌ အ​ချုပ်​ခံ​ရ​ပါ၏။ ပင်​လယ်​မြက်​ပင်​သည် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ခေါင်း​ကို ပေါင်း​စည်း​လျက် ရှိ​ပါ၏။ 6 တောင်​ခြေ​ရင်း​အ​မြစ်​သို့ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ဆင်း၍၊ မြေ​ကန့်​လန့်​ကျင်​အ​တွင်း၌ အ​စဉ်​အ​မြဲ​ပိတ်​ထား​သော်​လည်း၊ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၏​ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင် ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ ကိုယ်​တော်​သည် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​အ​သက်​ကို ပျက်​စီး​ရာ​မှ ကယ်​ဆယ်​တော်​မူ​လိမ့်​မည်။ 7 အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​သည် စိတ်​ပျက်​သော​အ​ခါ ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​ကို အောက်​မေ့၍၊ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၏​ပ​တ္ထ​နာ​သည် သန့်​ရှင်း​သော ဗိ​မာန်​တော်၌ ကိုယ်​တော်​ထံ​သို့ ဝင်​ပါ၏။ 8 မု​သား​အ​န​တ္တ​ကို မှီ​ဝဲ​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် မိ​မိ​တို့ က​ရု​ဏာ​ခံ​ရာ​အ​ကြောင်း​ကို စွန့်​ပစ်​ကြ​ပါ၏။ 9 အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​မူ​ကား၊ ကျေး​ဇူး​တော်​ကို ချီး​မွမ်း​သော​စ​ကား​နှင့် ကိုယ်​တော်​အား ယဇ်​ပူ​ဇော်​ပါ​မည်။ သ​စ္စာ​က​တိ​ထား​သည်​အ​တိုင်း သ​စ္စာ​ဝတ်​ကို ပြု​ပါ​မည်။ ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၏​ကျေး​ဇူး​တော်​ကြောင့် ချမ်း​သာ​ရ​ပါ​သည်​ဟု ဆု​တောင်း​လေ၏။ 10 ထို​အ​ခါ ငါး​ကြီး​သည် ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၏ အ​မိန့်​တော်​ကို​ခံ၍ ယော​န​ကို ကုန်း​ပေါ်​သို့ အန်​လေ၏။

1 Then Jonah prayed unto Jehovah his God out of the fish’s belly. 2 And he said,

I called by reason of mine affliction unto Jehovah,

And he answered me;

Out of the belly of Sheol cried I,

And thou heardest my voice.

3 For thou didst cast me into the depth, in the heart of the seas,

And the flood was round about me;

All thy waves and thy billows passed over me.

4 And I said, I am cast out from before thine eyes;

Yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.

5 The waters compassed me about, even to the soul;

The deep was round about me;

The weeds were wrapped about my head.

6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains;

The earth with its bars closed upon me for ever:

Yet hast thou brought up my life from the pit, O Jehovah my God.

7 When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Jehovah;

And my prayer came in unto thee, into thy holy temple.

8 They that regard lying vanities

Forsake their own mercy.

9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving;

I will pay that which I have vowed.

Salvation is of Jehovah.

10 And Jehovah spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
