1 ငါ​သည် လူ​ဘာ​သာ​စ​ကား​ကို​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ ကောင်း​ကင်​တ​မန် ဘာ​သာ​စ​ကား​ကို​လည်း​ကောင်း ပြော​နိုင်​သော်​လည်း မေ​တ္တာ​မ​ရှိ​လျှင် အ​သံ​မြည်​သော တံ​ပိုး​ခ​ရာ​ကဲ့​သို့​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ တီး​သံ​ကို​သာ ပေး​တတ်​သော လင်း​ကွင်း​ကဲ့​သို့​လည်း​ကောင်း ဖြစ်၏။- 2 ပ​ရော​ဖက်​ဉာဏ်​ကို ငါ​ရ၍၊ နက်​နဲ​သော အ​ရာ​ရှိ​သ​မျှ​တို့​နှင့် သိ​ပ္ပံ​အ​တတ်​အ​မျိုး​မျိုး​ကို တတ်​သော်​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ တောင်​များ​ကို​ရွှေ့​နိုင်​သော ယုံ​ကြည်​ခြင်း​အ​မျိုး​မျိုး​နှင့် ပြည့်​စုံ​သော်​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ မေ​တ္တာ​မ​ရှိ​လျှင် အ​ချည်း​နှီး​သက်​သက် ဖြစ်၏။- 3 သူ​တစ်​ပါး​ကို ငါ​ကျွေး​မွေး၍ ဥ​စ္စာ​ရှိ​သ​မျှ​ကို စွန့်​ကြဲ​သည်​သာ​မ​က၊ ကိုယ်​ခ​န္ဓာ​ကို မီး​ရှို့​စေ​ခြင်း​ငှာ အပ်​သော်​လည်း၊ မေ​တ္တာ​မ​ရှိ​လျှင်၊ ငါ၌​အ​ကျိုး​မ​ရှိ။- 4 မေ​တ္တာ​သည် စိတ်​ရှည်​တတ်၏။ ကျေး​ဇူး​ပြု​တတ်၏။ မေ​တ္တာ​သည် ဂုဏ်​ပြိုင်​ခြင်း​မ​ရှိ၊ ဝါ​ကြွား​ခြင်း​မ​ရှိ၊ မာန်​မာ​န​မ​ရှိ။- 5 မ​လျောက်​ပတ်​စွာ မ​ကျင့်​တတ်၊ ကိုယ်​အ​ကျိုး​ကို မ​ရှာ​တတ်၊ ဒေါ​သ​အ​မျက် မ​ထွက်​တတ်၊ အ​ပြစ်​ရှိ​သည်​ဟု မ​ထင်​တတ်၊- 6 မ​တ​ရား​သော​အ​မှု၌ ဝမ်း​မြောက်​ခြင်း မ​ရှိ​တတ်၊ သ​မ္မာ​တ​ရား၌ ဝမ်း​မြောက်​တတ်၏။- 7 ခပ်​သိမ်း​သော​အ​ရာ​ကို ဖုံး​အုပ်​တတ်၏။ ခပ်​သိမ်း​သော​အ​ရာ​ကို ယုံ​တတ်၏။ ခပ်​သိမ်း​သော​အ​ရာ​ကို မျှော်​လ​င့်​တတ်၏။ ခပ်​သိမ်း​သော​အ​ရာ​ကို သည်း​ခံ​တတ်၏။- 8 မေ​တ္တာ​သည် ဖောက်​ပြန်​ခြင်း​သ​ဘော​နှင့် အ​စဉ်​ကင်း​လွတ်၏။ ပ​ရော​ဖက်​ဉာဏ်​သော်​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ အ​မျိုး​မျိုး​သော ဘာ​သာ​စ​ကား​ကို ပြော​နိုင်​သော​အ​ခွင့်​သော်​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ သိ​ပ္ပံ​အ​တတ်​သော်​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ ကွယ်​ပျောက်​လိမ့်​မည်။

9 ယ​ခု​မူ​ကား၊ ငါ​တို့​သည် မ​စုံ​မ​လင် သိ​တတ်​ကြ၏။ ပ​ရော​ဖက်​ဉာဏ်​နှင့် မ​စုံ​မ​လင် ဟော​တတ်​ကြ၏။- 10 စုံ​လင်​ခြင်း​သို့ ရောက်​သော​အ​ခါ​မူ​ကား၊ မ​စုံ​လင်​သ​မျှ​တို့​သည် ကွယ်​ပျောက်​ကြ​လိမ့်​မည်။- 11 ငါ​သည် သူ​ငယ်​ဖြစ်​စဉ်​အ​ခါ၊ သူ​ငယ်​လို စ​ကား​ပြော၏။ သူ​ငယ်​လို စိတ်​ထင်၏။ သူ​ငယ်​လို ကြံ​စည်၏။ အ​သက်​ကြီး​သော​အ​ခါ​မူ​ကား၊ သူ​ငယ်၏​အ​ရာ​များ​ကို ငါ​ပယ်​ရှား၏။- 12 ယ​ခု​တွင် ငါ​တို့​သည် မှန်​အား​ဖြင့် ရိပ်​မိ​လျက်​သာ နေ​ကြ၏။ ထို​အ​ခါ​မူ​ကား၊ မျက်​မှောက်​ထင်​ထင် မြင်​ရ​ကြ​လိမ့်​မည်။ ယ​ခု​တွင် ငါ​အ​သိ​အ​မြင် မ​စုံ​မ​လင်​ဖြစ်၏။ ထို​အ​ခါ​မူ​ကား၊ သူ​တစ်​ပါး​သည် ငါ့​ကို​သိ​သ​ကဲ့​သို့ ငါ​သိ​ရ​လိမ့်​မည်။- 13 ယ​ခု​တွင် ယုံ​ကြည်​ခြင်း၊ မျှော်​လ​င့်​ခြင်း၊ ချစ်​ခြင်း၊ ဤ​သုံး​ပါး​တည်​လျက် ရှိ၏။ ဤ​သုံး​ပါး​တို့​တွင် ချစ်​ခြင်း မေ​တ္တာ​သည် အ​မြတ်​ဆုံး​ဖြစ်​သ​တည်း။

1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And if I shall dole out all my goods in food, and if I deliver up my body that I may be burned, but have not love, I profit nothing.

4 Love has long patience, is kind; love is not emulous of others; love is not insolent and rash, is not puffed up, 5 does not behave in an unseemly manner, does not seek what is its own, is not quickly provoked, does not impute evil, 6 does not rejoice at iniquity but rejoices with the truth, 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

8 Love never fails; but whether prophecies, they shall be done away; or tongues, they shall cease; or knowledge, it shall be done away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part: 10 but when that which is perfect has come, that which is in part shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I reasoned as a child; when I became a man, I had done with what belonged to the child. 12 For we see now through a dim window obscurely, but then face to face; now I know partially, but then I shall know according as I also have been known. 13 And now abide faith, hope, love; these three things; and the greater of these is love.
