1 တစ်​ဖန် မော​ရှေ​အား​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​က၊ သင်​သည် ဣ​သ​ရေ​လ​အ​မျိုး​သား​တို့​အား ဆင့်​ဆို​ရ​မည်​မှာ၊ 2 မိန်း​မ​သည်​ပ​ဋိ​သ​န္ဓေ​ယူ၍ သား​ယောက်ျား​ကို​ဖွား​မြင်​ပြီး​လျှင်၊ ဥ​တု​ရောက်၍ ခု​နစ်​ရက်​မ​စင်​ကြယ်​သ​ကဲ့​သို့ ခု​နစ်​ရက်​မ​စင်​ကြယ်​နေ​ရ​မည်။ 3 အ​ဋ္ဌ​မ​နေ့၌ သား​ယောက်ျား​အား အ​ရေ​ဖျား​လှီး​ခြင်း​ကို​ပြု​ရ​မည်။ 4 ထို​နောက် အ​မိ​သည်​စင်​ကြယ်​စေ​ခြင်း​နှင့်​ဆိုင်​သော အ​သွေး​ရှိ၍၊ အ​ရက်​သုံး​ဆယ်​သုံး​ရက်​ပတ်​လုံး နေ​ရ​မည်။ စင်​ကြယ်​စေ​ခြင်း​နေ့​ရက် မ​စေ့​မီ​တိုင်​အောင် သန့်​ရှင်း​သော​အ​ရာ​ကို​မ​ကိုင်​ရ။ သန့်​ရှင်း​ရာ​ဌာ​န​တော်​ကို မ​သွား​ရ။ 5 သား​မိန်း​မ​ကို​ဖွား​မြင်​လျှင်၊ ဥ​တု​ရောက်​သ​ကဲ့​သို့ တစ်​ဆယ်​လေး​ရက်​ပတ်​လုံး မ​စင်​ကြယ်​နေ​ရ​မည်။ စင်​ကြယ်​စေ​ခြင်း​နှင့် ဆိုင်​သော​အ​သွေး​ရှိ၍၊ အ​ရက်​ခြောက်​ဆယ်​ခြောက်​ရက်​ပတ်​လုံး နေ​ရ​မည်။ 6 သား​ယောက်ျား​ဖြစ်​စေ၊ မိန်း​မ​ဖြစ်​စေ၊ စင်​ကြယ်​စေ​ခြင်း​နေ့​ရက် ကာ​လ​စေ့​သော​အ​ခါ၊ မီး​ရှို့​ရာ​ယဇ်​ဖို့ အ​ခါ​လည်​သော သိုး​သငယ်​တစ်​ကောင်၊ အ​ပြစ်​ဖြေ​ရာ​ယဇ်​ဖို့ ချိုး​က​လေး​တစ်​ကောင်၊ သို့​မ​ဟုတ် ခို​တစ်​ကောင်​ကို၊ ပ​ရိ​သတ်​စည်း​ဝေး​ရာ တဲ​တော်​တံ​ခါး​ရှေ့၊ ယဇ်​ပု​ရော​ဟိတ်​ထံ​သို့ ဆောင်​ခဲ့​ရ​မည်။ 7 ယဇ်​ပု​ရော​ဟိတ်​သည် ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​ရှေ့​တော်၌​ပူ​ဇော်၍၊ ထို​မိန်း​မ​အ​ဖို့ အ​ပြစ်​ဖြေ​ခြင်း​ကို​ပြု​သ​ဖြင့်၊ သူ​သည် အ​သွေး​သွန်​ခြင်း​အ​ပြစ်​မှ သန့်​ရှင်း​ရ​လိမ့်​မည်။ 8 သိုး​သ​ငယ်​ကို​မ​တတ်​နိုင်​လျှင် ခို​နှစ်​ကောင်​ဖြစ်​စေ၊ ချိုး​က​လေး​နှစ်​ကောင်​ဖြစ်​စေ၊ မီး​ရှို့​ရာ​ယဇ်​ဖို့​တစ်​ကောင်၊ အ​ပြစ်​ဖြေ​ရာ​ယဇ်​ဖို့​တစ်​ကောင်​ကို ဆောင်​ခဲ့၍၊ ယဇ်​ပု​ရော​ဟိတ်​သည်​သူ့​အ​ဖို့ အ​ပြစ်​ဖြေ​ခြင်း​ကို​ပြု​သ​ဖြင့်၊ သူ​သည်​သန့်​ရှင်း​ရ​လိမ့်​မည်။ ဤ​ရွေ့​ကား၊ သား​ယောက်ျား၊ သား​မိန်း​မ​ကို​ဖွား​မြင်​သော​အ​မိ​နှင့် ဆိုင်​သော​တ​ရား​ဖြစ်​သ​တည်း​ဟု မိန့်​တော်​မူ၏။

1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman conceive seed, and bear a male, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of the separation of her infirmity shall she be unclean. 3 And on the eighth day shall the flesh of his foreskin be circumcised. 4 And she shall continue thirty-three days in the blood of her cleansing; no holy thing shall she touch, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her cleansing are fulfilled. 5 And if she bear a female, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation; and she shall continue sixty-six days in the blood of her cleansing.

6 And when the days of her cleansing are fulfilled, for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring a yearling lamb for a burnt-offering, and a young pigeon or a turtle-dove for a sin-offering, to the entrance of the tent of meeting, unto the priest. 7 And he shall present it before Jehovah, and make atonement for her; and she shall be clean from the flux of her blood. This is the law for her that hath borne a male or a female. 8 And if her hand cannot find what is sufficient for a sheep, she shall bring two turtle-doves or two young pigeons; one for a burnt-offering, and the other for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for her; and she shall be clean.
