7 But we have this treasure in clay vessels that the excellency of the virtue may be of God, and not of us.

8 [We are] troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are unsure [of our lives], but not in despair;

9 persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10 always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

11 For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.


15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage to be in fear [again], but ye have received the Spirit of adoption [of sons], whereby we cry, Abba, Father.


17 Therefore if anyone [is] in Christ, [they are] a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are made new.


28 And fear not those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.


2 And God spoke unto Israel in visions of the night and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here [am] I.


13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.


22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee; he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.


12 For if there is first a willing desire, [it is] accepted according to what a person has [and] not according to what they do not have.


7 casting all your cares upon him, for he cares for you.


16 Therefore we fault not; but though our outward man is wearing out, yet the inward [man] is renewed day by day.


7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of strength and of love and of temperance.


33 These things I have spoken unto you that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.:


9 The LORD also will be a refuge to the humble, a refuge for the time of trouble.

10 And those that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, O LORD, hast not forsaken those that seek thee.


8 After this, I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I answered, Here [am] I; send me.


24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto charity and unto good works,

25 not forsaking our gathering together, as the manner of some [is], but exhorting [one another] and so much the more, when ye see that day approaching.


6 In which ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are afflicted in diverse temptations,


1 To the Overcomer: for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in tribulation.

2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea,

3 [though] the waters thereof roar [and] be troubled, [though] the mountains shake with the violence thereof. Selah.


20 And David said to Solomon, his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do [it]; fear not, nor be dismayed, for the LORD God, [even] my God, [will be] with thee; he will not leave thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work of the service of the house of the LORD.


8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go; I will fix mine eyes upon thee.


3 When I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.


13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.


17 For our tribulation, which is momentary and light, prepares an exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory unto us;


28 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.


17 And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, and set thou aright the work of our hands upon us; yea, set thou aright the work of our hands.:


27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.


17 And Jesus said unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

18 And straightway they forsook their nets and followed him.


11 Therefore comfort and edify one another, even as ye do.


23 In all labour there is fruit, but to talk and not do, brings poverty.


5 [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness, [and be] content with such things as ye have; for he has said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.


1 I was sought of [those that] did not ask [for me]; I was found of [those that] did not seek me; I said, Here I am, Here I am, unto a people [that] did not invoke my name.


11 Therefore being certain of that terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God, and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

12 For we do not commend ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf that ye may have something to [answer] those who glory in appearance, and not in heart.

13 For whether we are fools, [it is] unto God; or whether we are sane, [it is] for your cause.

14 For the charity of the Christ constrains us because we judge thus: that if one died for all, then all are dead:

15 And [that] he died for all that those who live should not live from now on unto themselves, but unto him who died and rose again for them.

16 Therefore from now on we know no one according to the flesh: and even if we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know [him] no longer.

17 Therefore if anyone [is] in Christ, [they are] a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are made new.

18 And all this by God, who reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 for certainly God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them and having placed in us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did exhort [you] by us; we beseech [you] in Christ's name, be ye reconciled to God.

21 For he has made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.:


13 And who [is] he that can harm you, if ye are followers of that which is good?

14 But also if ye suffer anything for righteousness' sake, blessed [are ye]; therefore, be not afraid of their terror neither be troubled,


1 [A Psalm] of David. The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?


4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.


17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save; he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over thee with singing.


38 Then Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.


6 being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will perfect [it] until the day of Jesus Christ


8 And the LORD is he that doth go before thee; he will be with thee; he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee; fear not, neither be dismayed.


4 Because thou wast precious in my sight, thou wast worthy of honour, and I have loved thee.


4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff shall comfort me.


24 Be of good courage and strengthen your hearts, all ye that wait in the LORD.:


11 And the angel of God spoke unto me in dreams, [saying], Jacob: And I said, Here [am] I.


10 Do not fear for I [am] with thee; do not be dismayed, for I [am] thy God, who strengthens thee; I will help thee always; I will always uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.


2 When thou dost pass through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou dost walk through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.


9 See that I command thee to be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for [I], the LORD thy God [am], with thee whereever thou goest.


6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?

7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; ye are of more value than many sparrows.


11 For I know the thoughts that I think concerning you, said the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you the end that you wait for.


18 In charity there is no fear; but charity that is perfect casts out fear; because fear has torment; from which he that fears is not complete in charity.


3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.


6 Be strong and of a good courage; fear not, nor be afraid of them, for the LORD thy God is he that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee nor forsake thee.


5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be unanimous among yourselves according to Christ Jesus,


16 Then the people answered and said, May it never happen that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods.

17 For the LORD our God, he [it is] that brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage and who did those great signs in our sight and has kept us in all the way in which we went and among all the peoples through whom we passed.


11 For I long to see you that I may impart with you some spiritual gift to confirm you,

12 that is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.


5 Do not fear; for I [am] with thee: I will bring thy generation from the east and gather thee from the west;


2 Let each one of us please [his] neighbour in [that which is] good, unto edification.


58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.:


14 Wait for the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart; wait, I say, for the LORD.:


31 but those that wait for the LORD shall have new strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.:


8 I have set the LORD always before me: because [when he is] at my right hand, I shall not be moved.


11 Then the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven and said, Abraham, Abraham; and he said, Here [am] I.


1 A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains, from whence cometh my help.

2 My help [comes] from the LORD, who made the heavens and earth.


10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; to whom the Lord said in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I [am here], Lord.


16 Then Eli called Samuel and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here [am] I.


31 What shall we then say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [shall be] against us?


4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here [am] I.
