Dia dos Pais

20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight, and am no more worthy to be called your son.

22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and sandals on his feet:

23 And bring here the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

3 Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

5 Happy is the man that has his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

24 He that spares his rod hates his son: but he that loves him chastens him early.

13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be men, be strong.

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begets a wise child shall have joy in him.

7 The just man walks in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.

12 Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God gives you.

26 In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
