1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest: 3 And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper; 4 Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop: 5 And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water: 6 As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water: 7 And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field. 8 And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days. 9 But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.

10 And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil. 11 And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: 12 And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD: 13 And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy: 14 And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot: 15 And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand: 16 And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD: 17 And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering: 18 And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD. 19 And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering: 20 And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

21 And if he be poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering, and a log of oil; 22 And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering. 23 And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD. 24 And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD: 25 And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot: 26 And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand: 27 And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD: 28 And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering: 29 And the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before the LORD. 30 And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get; 31 Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD. 32 This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his cleansing.

33 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, 34 When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession; 35 And he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seemeth to me there is as it were a plague in the house: 36 Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house: 37 And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall; 38 Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days: 39 And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house; 40 Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city: 41 And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place: 42 And they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other morter, and shall plaister the house. 43 And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he hath taken away the stones, and after he hath scraped the house, and after it is plaistered; 44 Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house: it is unclean. 45 And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place. 46 Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even. 47 And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes. 48 And if the priest shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed. 49 And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop: 50 And he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water: 51 And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times: 52 And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet: 53 But he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean.

54 This is the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and scall, 55 And for the leprosy of a garment, and of a house, 56 And for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot: 57 To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.

1 L'Eternel parla à Moïse, et dit:

2 Voici quelle sera la loi sur le lépreux, pour le jour de sa purification. On l'amènera devant le sacrificateur.

3 Le sacrificateur sortira du camp, et il examinera le lépreux. Si le lépreux est guéri de la plaie de la lèpre,

4 le sacrificateur ordonnera que l'on prenne, pour celui qui doit être purifié, deux oiseaux vivants et purs, du bois de cèdre, du cramoisi et de l'hysope.

5 Le sacrificateur ordonnera qu'on égorge l'un des oiseaux sur un vase de terre, sur de l'eau vive.

6 Il prendra l'oiseau vivant, le bois de cèdre, le cramoisi et l'hysope; et il les trempera, avec l'oiseau vivant, dans le sang de l'oiseau égorgé sur l'eau vive.

7 Il en fera sept fois l'aspersion sur celui qui doit être purifié de la lèpre. Puis il le déclarera pur, et il lâchera dans les champs l'oiseau vivant.

8 Celui qui se purifie lavera ses vêtements, rasera tout son poil, et se baignera dans l'eau; et il sera pur. Ensuite il pourra entrer dans le camp, mais il restera sept jours hors de sa tente.

9 Le septième jour, il rasera tout son poil, sa tête, sa barbe, ses sourcils, il rasera tout son poil; il lavera ses vêtements, et baignera son corps dans l'eau, et il sera pur.

10 Le huitième jour, il prendra deux agneaux sans défaut et une brebis d'un an sans défaut, trois dixièmes d'un épha de fleur de farine en offrande pétrie à l'huile, et un log d'huile.

11 Le sacrificateur qui fait la purification présentera l'homme qui se purifie et toutes ces choses devant l'Eternel, à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation.

12 Le sacrificateur prendra l'un des agneaux, et il l'offrira en sacrifice de culpabilité, avec le log d'huile; il les agitera de côté et d'autre devant l'Eternel.

13 Il égorgera l'agneau dans le lieu où l'on égorge les victimes expiatoires et les holocaustes, dans le lieu saint; car, dans le sacrifice de culpabilité, comme dans le sacrifice d'expiation, la victime est pour le sacrificateur; c'est une chose très sainte.

14 Le sacrificateur prendra du sang de la victime de culpabilité; il en mettra sur le lobe de l'oreille droite de celui qui se purifie, sur le pouce de sa main droite et sur le gros orteil de son pied droit.

15 Le sacrificateur prendra du log d'huile, et il en versera dans le creux de sa main gauche.

16 Le sacrificateur trempera le doigt de sa main droite dans l'huile qui est dans le creux de sa main gauche, et il fera avec le doigt sept fois l'aspersion de l'huile devant l'Eternel.

17 Le sacrificateur mettra de l'huile qui lui reste dans la main sur le lobe de l'oreille droite de celui qui se purifie, sur le pouce de sa main droite et sur le gros orteil de son pied droit, par-dessus le sang de la victime de culpabilité.

18 Le sacrificateur mettra ce qui lui reste d'huile dans la main sur la tête de celui qui se purifie; et le sacrificateur fera pour lui l'expiation devant l'Eternel.

19 Puis le sacrificateur offrira le sacrifice d'expiation; et il fera l'expiation pour celui qui se purifie de sa souillure. Ensuite il égorgera l'holocauste.

20 Le sacrificateur offrira sur l'autel l'holocauste et l'offrande; et il fera pour cet homme l'expiation, et il sera pur.

21 S'il est pauvre et que ses ressources soient insuffisantes, il prendra un seul agneau, qui sera offert en sacrifice de culpabilité, après avoir été agité de côté et d'autre, et avec lequel on fera pour lui l'expiation. Il prendra un seul dixième de fleur de farine pétrie à l'huile pour l'offrande, et un log d'huile.

22 Il prendra aussi deux tourterelles ou deux jeunes pigeons, selon ses ressources, l'un pour le sacrifice d'expiation, l'autre pour l'holocauste.

23 Le huitième jour, il apportera pour sa purification toutes ces choses au sacrificateur, à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, devant l'Eternel.

24 Le sacrificateur prendra l'agneau pour le sacrifice de culpabilité, et le log d'huile; et il les agitera de côté et d'autre devant l'Eternel.

25 Il égorgera l'agneau du sacrifice de culpabilité. Le sacrificateur prendra du sang de la victime de culpabilité; il en mettra sur le lobe de l'oreille droite de celui qui se purifie, sur le pouce de sa main droite et sur le gros orteil de son pied droit.

26 Le sacrificateur versera de l'huile dans le creux de sa main gauche.

27 Le sacrificateur fera avec le doigt de sa main droite sept fois l'aspersion de l'huile qui est dans sa main gauche, devant l'Eternel.

28 Le sacrificateur mettra de l'huile qui est dans sa main sur le lobe de l'oreille droite de celui qui se purifie, sur le pouce de sa main droite et sur le gros orteil de son pied droit, à la place où il a mis du sang de la victime de culpabilité.

29 Le sacrificateur mettra ce qui lui reste d'huile dans la main sur la tête de celui qui se purifie, afin de faire pour lui l'expiation devant l'Eternel.

30 Puis il offrira l'une des tourterelles ou l'un des jeunes pigeons qu'il a pu se procurer,

31 l'un en sacrifice d'expiation, l'autre en holocauste, avec l'offrande; et le sacrificateur fera pour celui qui se purifie l'expiation devant l'Eternel.

32 Telle est la loi pour la purification de celui qui a une plaie de lèpre, et dont les ressources sont insuffisantes.

33 L'Eternel parla à Moïse et à Aaron, et dit:

34 Lorsque vous serez entrés dans le pays de Canaan, dont je vous donne la possession; si je mets une plaie de lèpre sur une maison du pays que vous posséderez,

35 celui à qui appartiendra la maison ira le déclarer au sacrificateur, et dira: J'aperçois comme une plaie dans ma maison.

36 Le sacrificateur, avant d'y entrer pour examiner la plaie, ordonnera qu'on vide la maison, afin que tout ce qui y est ne devienne pas impur. Après cela, le sacrificateur entrera pour examiner la maison.

37 Le sacrificateur examinera la plaie. S'il voit qu'elle offre sur les murs de la maison des cavités verdâtres ou rougeâtres, paraissant plus enfoncées que le mur,

38 il sortira de la maison, et, quand il sera à la porte, il fera fermer la maison pour sept jours.

39 Le sacrificateur y retournera le septième jour. S'il voit que la plaie s'est étendue sur les murs de la maison,

40 il ordonnera qu'on ôte les pierres attaquées de la plaie, et qu'on les jette hors de la ville, dans un lieu impur.

41 Il fera râcler tout l'intérieur de la maison; et l'on jettera hors de la ville, dans un lieu impur, la poussière qu'on aura râclée.

42 On prendra d'autres pierres, que l'on mettra à la place des premières; et l'on prendra d'autre mortier, pour recrépir la maison.

43 Si la plaie revient et fait éruption dans la maison, après qu'on a ôté les pierres, râclé et recrépi la maison,

44 le sacrificateur y retournera. S'il voit que la plaie s'est étendue dans la maison, c'est une lèpre invétérée dans la maison: elle est impure.

45 On abattra la maison, les pierres, le bois, et tout le mortier de la maison; et l'on portera ces choses hors de la ville dans un lieu impur.

46 Celui qui sera entré dans la maison pendant tout le temps qu'elle était fermée sera impur jusqu'au soir.

47 Celui qui aura couché dans la maison lavera ses vêtements. Celui qui aura mangé dans la maison lavera aussi ses vêtements.

48 Si le sacrificateur, qui est retourné dans la maison, voit que la plaie ne s'est pas étendue, après que la maison a été recrépie, il déclarera la maison pure, car la plaie est guérie.

49 Il prendra, pour purifier la maison, deux oiseaux, du bois de cèdre, du cramoisi et de l'hysope.

50 Il égorgera l'un des oiseaux sur un vase de terre, sur de l'eau vive.

51 Il prendra le bois de cèdre, l'hysope, le cramoisi et l'oiseau vivant; il les trempera dans le sang de l'oiseau égorgé et dans l'eau vive, et il en fera sept fois l'aspersion sur la maison.

52 Il purifiera la maison avec le sang de l'oiseau, avec de l'eau vive, avec l'oiseau vivant, avec le bois de cèdre, l'hysope et le cramoisi.

53 Il lâchera l'oiseau vivant hors de la ville, dans les champs. C'est ainsi qu'il fera pour la maison l'expiation, et elle sera pure.

54 Telle est la loi pour toute plaie de lèpre et pour la teigne,

55 pour la lèpre des vêtements et des maisons,

56 pour les tumeurs, les dartres et les taches:

57 elle enseigne quand une chose est impure, et quand elle est pure. Telle est la loi sur la lèpre.

1 L’Eterno parlò ancora a Mosè, dicendo:

2 "Questa è la legge relativa al lebbroso per il giorno della sua purificazione. Egli sarà menato al sacerdote.

3 Il sacerdote uscirà dal campo, e l’esaminerà; e se vedrà che la piaga della lebbra è guarita nel lebbroso,

4 il sacerdote ordinerà che si prendano, per colui che dev’esser purificato, due uccelli vivi, puri, del legno di cedro, dello scarlatto e dell’issopo.

5 Il sacerdote ordinerà che si sgozzi uno degli uccelli in un vaso di terra su dell’acqua viva.

6 Poi prenderà l’uccello vivo, il legno di cedro, lo scarlatto e l’issopo, e l’immergerà, con l’uccello vivo, nel sangue dell’uccello sgozzato sopra l’acqua viva.

7 Ne aspergerà sette volte colui che dev’esser purificato dalla lebbra; lo dichiarerà puro, e lascerà andar libero per i campi l’uccello vivo.

8 Colui che si purifica si laverà le vesti, si raderà tutti i peli, si laverà nell’acqua, e sarà puro. Dopo questo potrà entrar nel campo, ma resterà sette giorni fuori della sua tenda.

9 Il settimo giorno si raderà tutti i peli, il capo, la barba, le ciglia: si raderà insomma tutti i peli, si laverà le vesti e si laverà il corpo nell’acqua, e sarà puro.

10 L’ottavo giorno prenderà due agnelli senza difetto, un’agnella d’un anno senza difetto, tre decimi ’un efa di fior di farina, una oblazione, intrisa con olio, e un log d’olio;

11 e il sacerdote che fa la purificazione, presenterà colui che si purifica e quelle cose davanti all’Eterno, all’ingresso della tenda di convegno.

12 Poi il sacerdote prenderà uno degli agnelli e l’offrirà come sacrifizio di riparazione, con il log d’olio, e li agiterà come offerta agitata davanti all’Eterno.

13 Poi scannerà l’agnello nel luogo dove si scannano i sacrifizi per il peccato e gli olocausti: vale a dire, nel luogo sacro; poiché il sacrifizio di riparazione appartiene al sacerdote, come quello per il peccato; è cosa santissima.

14 E il sacerdote prenderà del sangue del sacrifizio di riparazione e lo metterà sull’estremità dell’orecchio destro di colui che si purifica, sul pollice della sua man destra e sul dito grosso del suo piedi destro.

15 Poi il sacerdote prenderà dell’olio del log, e lo verserà nella palma della sua mano sinistra;

16 quindi il sacerdote intingerà il dito della sua destra nell’olio che avrà nella sinistra, e col dito farà sette volte aspersione di quell’olio davanti all’Eterno.

17 E del rimanente dell’olio che avrà in mano, il sacerdote ne metterà sull’estremità dell’orecchio destro di colui che si purifica, sul pollice della sua man destra e sul dito grosso del suo piede destro, oltre al sangue del sacrifizio di riparazione.

18 Il resto dell’olio che avrà in mano, il sacerdote lo metterà sul capo di colui che si purifica; e il sacerdote farà per lui l’espiazione davanti all’Eterno.

19 Poi il sacerdote offrirà il sacrifizio per il peccato, e farà l’espiazione per colui che si purifica della sua impurità; quindi, scannerà l’olocausto.

20 Il sacerdote offrirà l’olocausto e l’oblazione sull’altare; farà per quel tale l’espiazione, ed egli sarà puro.

21 Se colui è povero e non può procurarsi quel tanto, prenderà un solo agnello da offrire in sacrifizio di riparazione come offerta agitata, per fare l’espiazione per lui, e un solo decimo d’un efa di fior di farina intrisa con olio, come oblazione, e un log d’olio.

22 Prenderà pure due tortore o due giovani piccioni, secondo i suoi mezzi; uno sarà per il sacrifizio per il peccato, e l’altro per l’olocausto.

23 L’ottavo giorno porterà, per la sua purificazione, queste cose al sacerdote, all’ingresso della tenda di convegno, davanti all’Eterno.

24 E il sacerdote prenderà l’agnello del sacrifizio di riparazione e il log d’olio, e li agiterà come offerta agitata davanti all’Eterno.

25 Poi scannerà l’agnello del sacrifizio di riparazione. Il sacerdote prenderà del sangue del sacrifizio di riparazione, e lo metterà sull’estremità dell’orecchio destro di colui che si purifica, e sul pollice della sua man destra e sul dito grosso del suo piede destro.

26 Il sacerdote verserà di quell’olio sulla palma della sua mano sinistra.

27 E col dito della sua man destra il sacerdote farà aspersione dell’olio che avrà nella mano sinistra, sette volte davanti all’Eterno.

28 Poi il sacerdote metterà dell’olio che avrà in mano, sull’estremità dell’orecchio destro di colui che si purifica, sul pollice della sua man destra e sul dito grosso del suo piede destro, nel luogo dove ha messo del sangue del sacrifizio di riparazione.

29 Il resto dell’olio che avrà in mano, il sacerdote lo metterà sul capo di colui che si purifica, per fare espiazione per lui davanti all’Eterno.

30 Poi sacrificherà una delle tortore o uno dei due giovani piccioni, secondo che ha potuto procurarsi;

31 delle vittime che ha potuto procurarsi, una offrirà come sacrifizio per il peccato, e l’altra come olocausto, insieme con l’oblazione; e il sacerdote farà l’espiazione davanti all’Eterno per colui che si purifica.

32 Questa è la legge relativa a colui ch’è affetto da piaga di lebbra, e non ha mezzi da procurarsi ciò ch’è richiesto per la sua purificazione".

33 L’Eterno parlò ancora a Mosè e ad Aaronne, dicendo:

34 "Quando sarete entrati nel paese di Canaan che io vi do come vostro possesso, se mando la piaga della lebbra in una casa del paese che sarà vostro possesso,

35 il padrone della casa andrà a dichiararlo al sacerdote, dicendo: Mi pare che in casa mia ci sia qualcosa di simile alla lebbra.

36 Allora il sacerdote ordinerà che si sgomberi la casa prima ch’egli v’entri per esaminare la piaga, affinché tutto quello che è nella casa non diventi impuro. Dopo questo, il sacerdote entrerà per esaminar la casa.

37 Ed esaminerà la piaga; e se vedrà che la piaga che è sui muri della casa consiste in fossette verdastre o rossastre che appaiano più profonde della superficie della parete,

38 il sacerdote uscirà dalla casa; e, giunto alla porta, farà chiudere la casa per sette giorni.

39 Il settimo giorno, il sacerdote vi tornerà; e se, esaminandola, vedrà che la piaga s’è allargata sulle pareti della casa,

40 il sacerdote ordinerà che se ne smurino le pietre sulle quali è la piaga, e che si gettino in luogo immondo, fuor di città.

41 Farà raschiare tutto l’interno della casa, e butteranno i calcinacci raschiati fuor di città, in luogo impuro.

42 Poi si prenderanno delle altre pietre e si metteranno al posto delle prime, e si prenderà dell’altra calcina per intonacare la casa.

43 E se la piaga torna ed erompe nella casa dopo averne smurate le pietre e dopo che la casa è stata raschiata e rintonacata,

44 il sacerdote entrerà ad esaminare la casa; e se vedrà che la piaga vi s’è allargata, nella casa c’è della lebbra maligna; la casa è impura.

45 Perciò si demolirà la casa; e se ne porteranno le pietre, il legname e i calcinacci fuori della città, in luogo impuro.

46 Inoltre, chiunque sarà entrato in quella casa durante tutto il tempo che è stata chiusa, sarà impuro fino alla sera.

47 Chi avrà dormito in quella casa, si laverà le vesti; e chi avrà mangiato in quella casa, si laverà le vesti.

48 E se il sacerdote che è entrato nella casa e l’ha esaminata vede che la piaga non s’è allargata nella casa dopo che la casa è stata rintonacata, il sacerdote dichiarerà la casa pura, perché la piaga è guarita.

49 Poi, per purificare la casa, prenderà due uccelli, del legno di cedro, dello scarlatto e dell’issopo;

50 sgozzerà uno degli uccelli in un vaso di terra su dell’acqua viva;

51 e prenderà il legno di cedro, l’issopo, lo scarlatto e l’uccello vivo, e l’immergerà nel sangue dell’uccello sgozzato e nell’acqua viva, e ne aspergerà sette volte la casa.

52 E purificherà la casa col sangue dell’uccello, dell’acqua viva, dell’uccello vivo, col legno di cedro, con l’issopo e con lo scarlatto;

53 ma lascerà andar libero l’uccello vivo, fuor di città, per i campi; e così farà l’espiazione per la casa ed essa sarà pura.

54 Questa è la legge relativa a ogni sorta di piaga di lebbra e alla tigna,

55 alla lebbra delle vesti e della casa,

56 ai tumori, alle pustole e alle macchie lucide,

57 per insegnare quando una cosa è impura e quando è pura. Questa è la legge relativa alla lebbra".
