Happy is he whom thou choosest, and causest to approach, that he may dwell in thy courts: let us be satisfied with the happiness of thy house, the holiness of thy temple.
And Jacob awakened out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the Lord is present in this place; and I knew it not.
And he was afraid, and said, How fearful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
One thing have I asked of the Lord, that I will seek for: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the loveliness of the Lord, and to be every morning early in his temple.

For better is a day in thy courts than a thousand elsewhere: I would rather choose to wait at the threshold of the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
