1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, the king of Israel:

2 To know wisdom and instruction; to comprehend the sayings of understanding;

3 To accept the instruction of intelligence, righteousness, and justice, and equity;

4 To give to the simple prudence, to the youth knowledge and discretion.

Provérbios 1:1-4

Even a child maketh himself known by his doings, whether his work will be pure, and whether it will be upright.

Provérbios 20:11

For thou art my hope, O Lord Eternal: thou art my trust from my youth.

Salmos 71:5

Though youths should grow faint and be weary, and young men should utterly stumble:

Isaías 40:30,31

21 For the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty; and drowsiness clotheth a man in rags.

22 Hearken unto thy father that hath begotten thee, and despise not thy mother although she be old.

Provérbios 23:19-22

(3:1) And it shall come to pass after this, that I will pour out my spirit over all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy: your old men shall dream dreams: your young men shall see visions:

(3:2) And also over the men–servants and over the maid–servants in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Joel 2:28,29

Rejoice, O young man, in thy childhood; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youthful vigor, and walk firmly in the ways of thy heart, and in the direction which thy eyes see: but know thou, that concerning all these things God will bring thee into judgment.
