1 Afterward he traveled through cities and villages, proclaiming the joyful tidings of the Reign of God, being attended by the twelve,2 and by certain women, who had been delivered from evil spirits and distempers; Mary, called Magdalene, out of whom went seven demons;3 Joanna, wife of Chuza, Herod's steward; Susanna, and several others, who assisted him with their property.
