1 L'Eternel parla encore à Moïse, en disant :
2 Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et leur dis : Quand une personne aura péché par erreur contre quelqu'un des commandements de l'Eternel, en commettant des choses qui ne se doivent point faire, et qu'il aura fait quelqu'une de ces choses;
3 Si c'est le Sacrificateur oint qui ait commis un péché semblable à quelque faute du peuple, il offrira à l'Eternel pour son péché qu'il aura fait, un veau sans tare, pris du troupeau, en offrande pour le péché.
4 Il amènera le veau à l'entrée du Tabernacle d'assignation devant l'Eternel, il posera sa main sur la tête du veau, et l'égorgera devant l'Eternel.
5 Et le Sacrificateur oint prendra du sang du veau, et l'apportera dans le Tabernacle d'assignation.
6 Et le Sacrificateur trempera son doigt dans le sang, et fera aspersion du sang par sept fois devant l'Eternel, au devant du voile du Sanctuaire.
7 Le Sacrificateur mettra aussi devant l'Eternel du sang sur les cornes de l'autel du parfum des drogues, qui est dans le Tabernacle d'assignation; mais il répandra tout le reste du sang du veau au pied de l'autel de l'holocauste, qui est à l'entrée du Tabernacle d'assignation.
8 Et il lèvera toute la graisse du veau de l'offrande pour le péché, [savoir], la graisse qui couvre les entrailles, et toute la graisse qui est sur les entrailles.
9 Et les deux rognons avec la graisse qui est sur eux, jusque sur les flancs, et il ôtera la taie qui est sur le foie [pour la mettre] sur les rognons;
10 Comme on les ôte du bœuf du sacrifice de prospérités, et le Sacrificateur fera fumer [toutes] ces choses-là sur l'autel de l'holocauste.
11 Mais quant à la peau du veau et toute sa chair, avec sa tête, ses jambes, ses entrailles, et sa fiente,
12 Et [même] tout le veau, il le tirera hors du camp dans un lieu net, où l'on répand les cendres, et il le brûlera sur du bois au feu, il sera brûlé au lieu où l'on répand les cendres.
13 Et si toute l'assemblée d'Israël a péché par erreur, et que la chose n'ait pas été aperçue par l'assemblée, et qu'ils aient violé quelque commandement de l'Eternel, en commettant des choses qui ne se doivent point faire, et se soient rendus coupables;
14 Et que le péché qu'ils ont fait vienne en évidence, l'assemblée offrira en offrande pour le péché un veau pris du troupeau, et on l'amènera devant le Tabernacle d'assignation.
15 Et les Anciens de l'assemblée poseront leurs mains sur la tête du veau devant l'Eternel.
16 Et le Sacrificateur oint portera du sang du veau dans le Tabernacle d'assignation.
17 Ensuite le Sacrificateur trempera son doigt dans le sang, et en fera aspersion devant l'Eternel au devant du voile, par sept fois.
18 Et il mettra du sang sur les cornes de l'autel qui est devant l'Eternel dans le Tabernacle d'assignation, et il répandra tout le reste du sang au pied de l'autel de l'holocauste, qui est à l'entrée du Tabernacle d'assignation.
19 Et il lèvera toute sa graisse, et la fera fumer sur l'autel;
20 Et il fera de ce veau, comme il a fait du veau de l'offrande pour son péché. Le Sacrificateur fera ainsi; il fera propitiation pour eux; et il leur sera pardonné.
21 Puis il tirera hors du camp le veau, et le brûlera comme il a brûlé le premier veau; car c'est l'offrande pour le péché de l'assemblée.
22 Que si quelqu'un des principaux a péché, ayant violé par erreur quelqu'un des commandements de l'Eternel son Dieu, en commettant des choses qui ne se doivent point faire, et s'est rendu coupable;
23 Et qu'on l'avertisse de son péché, qu'il a commis, il amènera pour sacrifice un jeune bouc mâle sans tare;
24 Et il posera sa main sur la tête du bouc, et on l'égorgera au lieu où l'on égorge l'holocauste devant l'Eternel; [car] c'est une offrande pour le péché.
25 Puis le Sacrificateur prendra avec son doigt du sang de l'offrande pour le péché, et le mettra sur les cornes de l'autel de l'holocauste, et il répandra le reste de son sang au pied de l'autel de l'holocauste.
26 Et il fera fumer toute sa graisse sur l'autel comme la graisse du sacrifice de prospérités; ainsi le Sacrificateur fera propitiation pour lui de son péché, et il lui sera pardonné.
27 Que si quelque personne du commun peuple a péché par erreur, en violant quelqu'un des commandements de l'Eternel, [et] en commettant des choses qui ne se doivent point faire, et s'est rendu coupable;
28 Et qu'on l'avertisse de son péché qu'il a commis, il amènera son offrande d'une jeune chèvre, sans tare, femelle, pour son péché qu'il a commis.
29 Et il posera sa main sur la tête de l'offrande pour le péché, et on égorgera l'offrande pour le péché au lieu où l'on égorge l'holocauste.
30 Puis le Sacrificateur prendra du sang de la chèvre avec son doigt, et le mettra sur les cornes de l'autel de l'holocauste, et il répandra tout le reste de son sang au pied de l'autel.
31 Et il ôtera toute sa graisse comme on ôte la graisse de dessus le sacrifice de prospérités, et le Sacrificateur la fera fumer sur l'autel, en bonne odeur à l'Eternel, il fera propitiation pour lui, et il lui sera pardonné.
32 Que s'il amène un agneau pour l'oblation de son péché, ce sera une femelle sans tare qu'il amènera.
33 Et il posera sa main sur la tête de l'offrande pour le péché, et on l'égorgera pour le péché au lieu où l'on égorge l'holocauste.
34 Puis le Sacrificateur prendra avec son doigt du sang de l'offrande pour le péché, et le mettra sur les cornes de l'autel de l'holocauste, et il répandra tout le reste de son sang au pied de l'autel.
35 Et il ôtera toute sa graisse, comme on ôte la graisse de l'agneau du sacrifice de prospérités, et le Sacrificateur les fera fumer sur l'autel par dessus les sacrifices de l'Eternel faits par feu, et il fera propitiation pour lui, touchant son péché qu'il aura commis, et il lui sera pardonné.
1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall act against any one of them:
3 If the priest that is anointed sins according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he has sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.
4 And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the LORD; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock's head, and kill the bullock before the LORD.
5 And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of meeting:
6 And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle some of the blood seven times before the LORD, before the veil of the sanctuary.
7 And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the LORD, which is in the tabernacle of meeting; and shall pour the rest of the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
8 And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fat that is upon the entrails,
9 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the fat above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away,
10 As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.
11 And the skin of the bullock, and all its flesh, with its head, and with its legs, and its entrails, and its dung,
12 Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth outside the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall it be burned.
13 And if the whole congregation of Israel sins through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;
14 When the sin, which they have sinned, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring it before the tabernacle of meeting.
15 And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the LORD: and the bullock shall be killed before the LORD.
16 And the priest that is anointed shall bring some of the bullock's blood to the tabernacle of meeting:
17 And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, even before the veil.
18 And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernacle of meeting, and shall pour out the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
19 And he shall take all its fat from it, and burn it upon the altar.
20 And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.
21 And he shall carry forth the bullock outside the camp, and burn it as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin offering for the congregation.
22 When a ruler has sinned, and done something through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;
23 Or if his sin, which he has sinned, comes to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:
24 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: it is a sin offering.
25 And the priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out its blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.
26 And he shall burn all its fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.
27 And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he does something against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
28 Or if his sin, which he has sinned, comes to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he has sinned.
29 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.
30 And the priest shall take some of the blood with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar.
31 And he shall take away all its fat, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet aroma unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.
32 And if he brings a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.
33 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.
34 And the priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar:
35 And he shall take away all its fat, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he has committed, andit shall be forgiven him.
