19 God [is] not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

1 But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons,

2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, being seared in [their] own conscience,

3 forbidding to marry, [saying] to abstain from foods which God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

16 These six the LORD hates; yea, seven [are] hateful to his soul:

17 a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

18 a heart that plots wicked plans, feet hurrying to run to evil,

19 a false witness [who] speaks lies, and he who causes fighting among brothers.

44 You are of the Devil as father, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from [the] beginning, and did not abide in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.

16 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

7 [He] who works falsely shall not dwell within my house; he who tells lies shall not stay in my sight.

11 You shall not steal, nor lie, nor be deceitful to one another.

9 Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his deeds

10 and having put on the new, having been renewed in knowledge according to [the] image of Him who created him,

6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue [is] a vanity tossed to and fro by those who seek death.

1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. O God of my praise, do not be silent;

2 for the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me; they spoke against me [with] a lying tongue.

22 Lying lips [are] hateful to the LORD, but those who deal truly [are] His delight.

13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity nor speak lies, and a deceitful tongue shall not be found in their mouth; for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make [them] afraid.

5 A faithful witness will not lie, but a false witness will speak lies.

14 But if you have bitter jealousy and strife in your hearts, do not glory and lie against the truth.

25 Therefore putting away lying, let each man speak truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.

15 But outside [are] the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and makes a lie.

7 An excellent lip [is] not fitting for a fool; much less are lying lips fitting for a prince.
