26 Six months later the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee, called Nazareth,27 to a maiden betrothed to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. Her name was Mary.28 The angel went in and said to her. "Joy to you, highly favored one! "The Lord is with you."
