1 Then he called the Twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to heal;2 and sent them out to preach the kingdom of God, and heal the sick.3 And he said to them. "Take nothing for your journey, neither staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money, and do not have two tunics.4 "Into whatever house you enter, there stay, and thence depart.5 "If any one will not receive you, shake off the dust from your feet as you leave this town, as a testimony against them."6 So they went forth, and walked from village to village, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.
