3The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

14Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

11"I also raised up prophets from among your childrenand Nazirites from among your youths.Is this not true, people of Israel?"declares the Lord.

1After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting:"Hallelujah!Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,

2for true and just are his judgments.He has condemned the great prostitutewho corrupted the earth by her adulteries.He has avenged on her the blood of his servants."

20But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

6But the servant replied, "Look, in this town there is a man of God; he is highly respected, and everything he says comes true. Let’s go there now. Perhaps he will tell us what way to take."

11Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.

26and in this way11:26 Or and so all Israel will be saved. As it is written:"The deliverer will come from Zion;he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.

36For from him and through him and for him are all things.To him be the glory forever! Amen.

11No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are."

44They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you."

15Now when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe and all kinds of music, if you are ready to fall down and worship the image I made, very good. But if you do not worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace. Then what god will be able to rescue you from my hand?"

17If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us3:17 Or If the God we serve is able to deliver us, then he will deliver us from the blazing furnace and from Your Majesty’s hand.

28Then Nebuchadnezzar said, "Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

2Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—those he redeemed from the hand of the foe,

11because they rebelled against God’s commandsand despised the plans of the Most High.

20He sent out his word and healed them;he rescued them from the grave.

3I will proclaim the name of the Lord.Oh, praise the greatness of our God!

10In a desert land he found him,in a barren and howling waste.He shielded him and cared for him;he guarded him as the apple of his eye,

39"See now that I myself am he!There is no god besides me.I put to death and I bring to life,I have wounded and I will heal,and no one can deliver out of my hand.

2Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, "Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven."

6But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins." So he said to the paralyzed man, "Get up, take your mat and go home."

22Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed at that moment.
