Elijah Proclaims a Drought

1 And Elijah the Tishbite, of the *Judg. 12:4inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, *1 Kin. 18:10; 22:14; 2 Kin. 3:14; 5:20"As the Lord God of Israel lives, *Deut. 10:8before whom I stand, *1 Kin. 18:1; James 5:17there shall not be dew nor rain *Luke 4:25these years, except at my word."
