No Other Doctrine

3 As I urged you *Acts 20:1, 3when I went into Macedonia—remain in Ephesus that you may charge some *Rom. 16:17; 2 Cor. 11:4; Gal. 1:6, 7; 1 Tim. 6:3that they teach no other doctrine, 4 *1 Tim. 6:3, 4, 20; Titus 1:14nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith.
