21And the Lord God of Israel Josh. 24:8delivered Sihon and all his people into the hand of Israel, and they Num. 21:24, 25defeated them. Thus Israel gained possession of all the land of the Amorites, who inhabited that country.

4they worked craftily, and went and pretended to be ambassadors. And they took old sacks on their donkeys, old wineskins torn and mended,

10and Num. 21:24, 33all that He did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan—to Sihon king of Heshbon, and Og king of Bashan, who was at Ashtaroth.

9Only take heed to yourself, and diligently Prov. 4:23keep yourself, lest you Deut. 29:2–8forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life.
