Bildad: How Can Man Be Righteous?

1 Then *Job 8:1; 18:1Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:

2 "Dominion and fear belong to Him;

He makes peace in His high places.

3 Is there any number to His armies?

Upon whom does *James 1:17His light not rise?

4 *Job 4:17; 15:14; Ps. 130:3; 143:2How then can man be righteous before God?

Or how can he be *(Job 14:4)pure whois born of a woman?

5 If even the moon does not shine,

And the stars are not pure in His *Job 15:15sight,

6 How much less man, whois*Ps. 22:6a maggot,

And a son of man, whois a worm?"
